Watery Semen Could Indicate a Penis Health Issue

So often when a man is discussing penis health matters, he is focusing on the organ itself. What can be done about the odor? Should it have a curve like that? Is that rash anything to worry about? But penis health also extends to matters beyond the organ itself, so that (for example) an infection in the kidneys would be part of penis health. By the same token, matters that relate to semen are definitely penis health issues. And one question that often arises is why a man’s semen may be somewhat watery.

About semen

All guys know that semen is the milky liquid that erupts from the penis when it has been sufficiently stimulated. But frequently guys know little more than that. For example, men often use the words semen and sperm interchangeably, but they are not the same thing. Sperm are the male reproductive cells that fertilize a woman’s eggs. Sperm are a part of a man’s semen, but semen also includes a mixture of fluids and other ingredients. There are proteins found in semen, as well as a high percentage of fructose sugars, which tend to account for the jelly-like texture of semen. The main purpose of semen is to be the vehicle that transports sperm from the male to the female.

While semen typically is rather thick, sometimes it may be somewhat watery. When this happens, a man may wonder why this is happening and if this is a penis health issue he needs to do something about.

Why is it watery?

There can be several reasons why a man’s semen might become watery. These include:

- Not enough zinc. The Journal of Reproduction and Infertility identifies zinc as a major component in sperm production and semen quality. The body doesn’t produce zinc on its own, so most people need to get zinc from the food that they eat. (Zinc is also important for other bodily functions and issues.) Among the foods that are highest in zinc are oysters, dairy products, beans, shellfish, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, almonds, and whole grains.

- "Too much" masturbation. No, masturbation is not unhealthy - but when a guy ejaculates frequently, it may have an impact on the consistency of his semen. (And the same goes for having sex frequently - any activity or combination of activities that results in frequent ejaculations runs the risk of making the semen become watery.)

- Alcohol and/or tobacco. Often, watery semen indicates a low sperm count - and too much alcohol and/or smoking negatively impacts the amount of sperm a man produces.

- Retrograde ejaculation. This is a condition in which some or all of a man’s semen flows back into the bladder rather than out through the penis. When it is a partial retrograde situation, the semen that does escape through the penis may be thinner in consistency.

- Hormone issues. If a person suffers from problems with his thyroid or with the gonads, it may result in hormonal imbalances, which can dampen appropriate semen production.

There may be other causes of low sperm count that might impact semen production as well.

Basically, occasional watery semen is not typically a penis health issue. However, if it is consistently watery, a man may want to consult with his doctor, especially if he is considering fathering a child.

Watery semen joins the ranks of penis health issues, hopefully inspiring a man to daily apply a first-class penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). When selecting an oil, find one that include both vitamin A and L-carnitine. Vitamin A has antibacterial properties that can help fight persistent penis odor, a frequent issue for men. And L-carnitine is a valuable amino acid that goes a long way to helping maintain appropriate penis sensation.

Interesting Facts About Penis Health

A guy might think he knows his penis well – but does he? Sure, he knows a lot of the basics, like how to use that tool he’s got, or how to take care of it with good penis care, and how to protect his penis health through the use of a condom when having sex, or through being careful to choose the right partner. But there are some points of anatomy and physiology that help a man figure out how his penis works from the inside out. Here are a few.

Smoking Can Diminish Penis Size

Although it sounds like fearmongering from those who don’t like smoking, this is actually a proven fact. Think about the amount of blood a penis needs to expand to the size of a typical erection. Those blood vessels that facilitate that expansion must be in good shape. Smoking affects the vessels, clogging them up over time, so that they don’t perform as well. In fact, it’s common for heavy smokers to experience the loss of a few inches of penis length over time.

Lack of Use Can Diminish Penis Size, Too

Now this really does sound like fearmongering, but again, it’s true. When the penis skin expands during an erection, it keeps the tissue flexible. Those who don’t have as many erections will often have stiffer skin, which won’t be as flexible. The result is that the skin will not stretch as far as it could, leaving a man with an uncomfortable erection, or one that it definitely smaller than it used to be.

Part of the Penis Is Inside the Body

It’s obvious that part of the penis is outside the body, but where does it end? The tissue of the penis continues inside the body, but how far does it go? The answer to that is surprising: for most men, what’s inside the body is approximately as long as what’s outside the body. The extra tissue is necessary for stabilizing the penis during the motion of sexual activity.

So the next time someone wonders about penis size, they can rest assured that it’s bigger than they think. A man has, say, 5 inches on the outside? He’s got another 5 inside, for a total of 10 inches. (You’re welcome.)

Masturbation Often Causes Injury

A man might scoff at this idea, but it is true – for most men, at some point, masturbation will lead to some sort of injury. Perhaps it’s as simple as an injury caused by stroking too much, leading to abrasions and sores. Perhaps it’s using the wrong kind of lube and winding up with contact dermatitis. But often it’s a matter of holding the penis too tightly, thus doing damage to the blood vessels and delicate nerves in the skin. The loss of sensation that can result might take months to restore, assuming it can be restored at all.

The Penis Is Covered in Bacteria

Just like the rest of our skin, the penis is absolutely covered in bacteria. Although regular washing removes a great deal of it, some will always remain. These bacteria feed on dead skin cells, and sometimes on the sugar from urine, but they don’t really cause any problems for a healthy penis. It’s when something goes wrong that they show themselves. This usually happens when a man isn’t too clean down there, and the bacteria begin to feed on more dead skin cells than usual, thus leading to a fishy odor.

Maintaining Good Penis Health

There are many things about penis health that are a mystery, that scientists are slowly learning about as they study sexual health in general. But one thing is certain: good penis care should always look to moisturizing to help ensure supple, smooth skin. That’s where a good penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) comes into play. Look for an oil with shea butter and vitamin E, 2 powerhouses of moisture that work synergistically to improve the skin.

Aging Penis 101: How Older Men Can Improve and Maintain Penis Health

Studies show that fifty-two percent of men aged 40-70 have some sort of difficulty with erections. Add to that issues like Peyronie’s disease and just good ol’ wear-and-tear, and it’s easy to see why some older men may be kind of distracted with penis health worries. You can’t stop getting older, but a man can make good choices and lifestyle changes that not only preserve his sexual function but make his aging penis better in the long run. Let’s look at all the components of penis health, sexual health, and aging, from what causes issues to what keeps a penis vital and vigorous overtime.

Age is (Mostly) a State of Mind

Contrary to what the world may suggest, aging does not rob one of sexual desire and performance. Albeit, age does like to throw many a wrench into sexual plans. Sure, it's not the member of your teens and twenties, but there is still a lot of life in that little fella. The first step in bolstering penis health is getting the right mindset around it. If you believe it's time to shrivel up and kiss the sexual side of life, bye-bye, you're putting yourself further behind than you should. Repeat this mantra: There is no expiration date on my penis.

The Relationship Connection

There's nothing wrong with casual sex if that's your thing. However, it is a bit more challenging to pull off as a man hits his fifties and beyond. Why? Well, knowing there is a significant possibility something may not work as it used to can be a big hit for a man. It can damage his self-esteem, confidence, and lead to performance issues. One thing casual sex generally lacks is sexual vulnerability, which is more often (not always) part of a loving, committed relationship. It is that comfort in knowing the barometer of the union is deeper than lust, which can decrease the pressure to perform like Don Juan every time you hit the sheets. However, that's not to say there will be issues! Being with a partner may be more erotic, exciting, and fulfilling because you can venture deeper into pleasure and trying new things because of the connection and trust. It's a safe place that lets a man explore. The psychological and emotional aspects of penis health are often overlooked, but men that see that connection to the physical are better off for it.

Physical Tips to Up Penis Health

All the mental stuff aside, let’s get physical! Here are some great tips for naturally preserving libido and sexual function:

- Exercise at least 30 minutes each day

- Eat a healthy diet full of good fats, lean proteins, and a wide array of colors

- Maintain a healthy weight

- Properly deal with all existing conditions so that they don’t hinder your health overall and your sexual health specifically

- Stop smoking

- Practice moderation with alcohol

- Get plenty of sleep (this ensures you get those 3-4 sleep boners each night which keep the member working)

- Manage stress levels to reduce blood pressure and distraction

- Consider ED medications carefully and with a trusted physician if they are needed

- Have sex often - if you don’t use it, you may lose it (or just make it harder to get hard)

- Have erections, even if they don’t get used - simply flooding the penis will oxygenated blood invigorates the penile tissue, keeping it healthy

- Apply a penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) daily to keep the delicate penile skin supple and elastic, as well as for its erection boosting properties and protection against nerve damage.

Creating a symphony of the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of penis health will not only make living and loving with an aging penis possible but extremely enjoyable as well.

Docking 101: Possible Penis Health Concerns

As people become more accepting and open-minded about sexual matters, many men are becoming more interested in different forms of sexual activities, some of which involve other men (even though the participants may identify as totally straight). For example, some men enjoy engaging in a practice known as docking, in which the glans of one man’s penis touches the glans of another; the foreskin of one penis is then stretched over both penises as far as it will reach, so that the "owner" of the foreskin has his penis totally covered and the upper portion of the second man’s penis is snugly fit inside. While some men find this an enjoyable practice, there may be some penis health issues that they need to consider.

It’s not really clear how common docking is. Since it involves at least one participant possessing a foreskin, and since the circumcision rate in the United States is so high, it is likely less common in America than in some other parts of the world. However, for those who do enjoy docking, the following are a few penis health issues that they might encounter:

- "Stuck" foreskin. This does not happen very often, but it is possible for the partner’s penis to become stuck inside the other man’s foreskin. This usually happens when the partner’s penis is not fully erect when the foreskin is first engaged; if the glans expands significantly after covering, it may become very tight, making removal of the penis from the foreskin difficult or painful.

- Foreskin damage. Sometimes stretching the foreskin so much may result in small tears in the foreskin. This is more likely in instances when the foreskin is stretched very tightly. Being sure that both penises are very well lubricated can cut down on the chances of tearing.

- Sexually-transmitted infections (STIs). Almost any kind of unprotected sexual activity can run the risk of a sexually-transmitted infection if one or both of the partners is already infected (and it is important to remember that not everyone is aware that they have contracted an STI). The release of semen or of self-lubricating pre-seminal fluid, can carry the seeds of infection, so when two penises rub together in this way, the route of infection is clear. Sexually active men should be tested every three months for possible STIs, as one way of helping to prevent transmission to partners. And if they know they are infected, they should refrain from activities (including docking) which might result in passing on of the infection.

- Yeast infections. Though not as serious as STIs, yeast infections can be annoying and uncomfortable. As with STIs, men who are aware that they are currently carrying a yeast infection should refrain from docking.

- Rashes. Sometimes a penis rash from one partner can be passed on to another from docking. In addition, it’s possible that some inactive allergen on the skin of one man, which does not produce a rash on his penis, may be passed on to another man who is sensitive to it and may therefore develop a rash.

- Crabs and scabies. These common parasitic creatures can cause significant itching and embarrassment. Do not dock with a man with these or similar conditions.

- Soreness. Finally, simply having one’s foreskin stretched top such an extent may result in lingering pain for several days afterward.

Taking steps to prevent or treat penis health issues due to docking makes the experience more enjoyable, so definitely start by regularly applying a top drawer penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin ). If soreness from overstretching is present, soothing the worn skin with an oil that contains both a high end emollient (such as shea butter) and a natural hydrator (such as vitamin E) is urged. The best oil will also include vitamin D, the so-called "miracle vitamin," which has proven benefits in fighting diseases and supporting healthy cellular function.

Some New Year’s Resolutions for Better Penis Health

It won’t be long before people will be knocking back a little champagne and waiting for that big ball to drop in Times Square. Yes, the new year is almost here, and with the new year comes new year’s resolutions. Although many people have difficulty keeping their new year’s resolutions, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t make them. And guys need to include some penis health resolutions among their promises this year. Choosing wise penis health resolutions - and sticking to them - really can make a big difference.

Of course, every man has different penis health requirements, so what one man desperately needs to resolve may not be an issue for another. However, the penis health resolutions listed below should be considered and perhaps added to the list of any man who is not currently following them.

- Air it out regularly. The penis is at a disadvantage. Nestled beneath not 1 but 2 layers of clothing (save for those who go commando or are nudists), it’s no wonder that it gets so hot and sweats so much. And that heat and sweat combine with bacteria to create a potentially major stench issue. There are several tricks to fighting penis odor, but one of the simplest is to simply let the penis run wild and free a few hours every day. Resolve: To be naked at least 2 hours a day around the house.

- Pay attention to it. No, not in the sense of masturbating it regularly (although nothing wrong with that as a resolution either.) Pay attention to it in the sense of keeping a regular eye on it, inspecting it, and noticing any changes that may be unusual or require a doctor’s consultation. And include the balls in that inspection as well! Resolve: To at least weekly do a full inspection of the penis and balls and make note of any changes that may have occurred since the last inspection.

- Rubberize it. In 2020, this shouldn’t have to be a resolution - but unfortunately it does. Any guy having unprotected sex, unless it is in the strict confines of a purely monogamous relationship, should wear a condom. And wear one every time they have sex. No, a condom cannot guarantee 100% protection, but worn properly it is the best defense against HIV and sexually transmitted infections - and can provide some protection against an unwanted pregnancy. Resolve: To wear a condom anytime when engaging in sex that is outside an entirely monogamous relationship.

- Keep it exercised. Every athlete knows the phrase "use it or lose it." Well, it applies to the penis as well. Regular exercise will help to keep the member in good penis health. The body automatically gives the penis a limited workout - that’s why guys have spontaneous erections unrelated to sexual thoughts or stimuli. But it also pays to actually engage in sex - with a partner or just with oneself - on a regular basis. This keeps the blood flowing and oxygen being delivered to penile tissue. Resolve: To improve penis health by making regular sex (of some sort) a part of the regimen.

- Oil it. One of the most important penis health resolutions is to regularly apply to the penis a first-class penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). Take care in selecting the proper oil and be sure that it contains both L-arginine and L-carnitine. Why? Well, the former is a vital amino acid that helps boost nitric oxide production, thereby helping to keep penile blood vessels flowing. And the latter contains neuroprotective properties, such that it aids the penis in maintaining an appropriate level of penis sensation, even in the face of rough handling of the organ.

Understanding Male Ejaculation and Penis Health

There is a widespread myth about male ejaculation - that the larger the result, the more virile the man must be. There is also the question of how much enjoyment he got from the sexual experience, as many people equate the amount or thickness of the ejaculate with sexual excitement. These myths can leave a man feeling rather self-conscious and unsure about his own body, which is quite the shame. So let’s address these myths and get down to the truth of the matter of penis health and male ejaculation.
Dispelling the Myths
Male ejaculate is made up of sperm, which are floating in other secretions, such as amino acids, citric acids, fructose, potassium, zinc, phosphorylcholine, prostaglandin, and a variety of enzymes. This makeup is not the same for every man. Some men might have more of one particular "ingredient" while others might have less. These changes in the makeup of the semen can affect how it looks - the color, the volume, the viscosity, and even the way it moves out of the body. (And here’s a fun fact: what a man eats can easily change the flavor of the semen, making it taste salty or bitter or even quite sweet.)
Given that, let’s take a look at the myths of male ejaculation:
Myth #1: How much he ejaculates determines his virility.
This is a damaging myth because it ties everything about a man to the amount of fluid he produces during an orgasm. The truth is that most men create between 3ml and 5ml of fluid during each ejaculation, though some might produce more or less. Any amount is perfectly normal. (Though a man who produces none at all each time should definitely speak with a physician about why that might be happening.)
In addition, it’s important to consider other factors as well. The amount of semen might depend upon how long it has been since a man last ejaculated, how long he has played with a partner (or with himself) before having an orgasm, how often he ejaculates, the kind of food he has been eating, and many other issues. Given this, it is impossible to say that a man should produce a certain amount in order to be "virile" or manly.
Myth #2: The more ejaculate, the more fun he had in bed.
This myth can be damaging to couples and to a partner’s psyche, because it suggests that if a man doesn’t ejaculate copious amounts, he didn’t have a good time. The truth is that a man might produce a little, a lot, or none at all! And that is no indication whatsoever of the levels of pleasure he reached during the sexual act.
In fact, it’s entirely possible for a man to experience the pleasurable feeling of an orgasm but produce no seminal fluid at all. This happens because the process of ejaculation and the sensation of orgasm are actually two entirely different processes - it just feels as though they are the same because they tend to happen at the same time.
Maintaining Penis Health and Healthy Male Ejaculation
It is important to remember that no matter what a man’s semen might be like, what matters is that his penis is healthy. That can be achieved through eating the right foods, exercising to keep blood flow up, and using an excellent penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) on a regular basis. A good crème will contain important nutrients, such as vitamins A, C, D and E. It will also include Shea butter, which is a must for anyone who wants smooth, supple skin that can stand the test of rigorous sexual activity.

Some Ways to Preserve Penis Health

Every part of the body ages, and the penis is not exempt. In fact, the passing years and decades can be really hard on the penis. Time can desensitize, shrink, soften, and depress the penis without proper care. But it doesn’t have to be that way! By creating some daily and weekly habits to preserve penis health, a man can have a youthful penis, no matter how many candles are on his birthday cake. Here are 5 tips to start doing today to promote penis health and keep him hard into your twilight years.

Penis Health Tip #1: Quit Smoking

It’s time to kick the habit. Honestly, you should, for a lot of reasons, like to avoid premature death, cardiovascular destruction, and lung cancer. A lesser-known loss male smokers face is the transformation of a hard, thick erection to a weak, limp, or nonexistent boner. Studies have shown that male smokers experience erectile dysfunction at high levels (up to 75 percent of smokers), and once they quit, many can get their erections back and banging.

Smoking decreases the amount of oxygen that reaches the penis. This can lead to loss of elasticity and scarring. Smoking damages the arteries, which then restrict the amount of nitric oxide that is used to pop a boner. Smoking can also degrade erectile tissue.

Penis Health Tip #2: Get those ZZZZZZZZs

You don’t need to talk to Arianna Huffington (but if you can, do it) to understand just how vital sleep is to a healthy body. Lack of sleep is linked to several sexual stoppers like diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and obesity. It can also reduce the amount of testosterone a man’s body makes, which can lower libido.

Penis Health Tip #3: Stay Hydrated

It seems like a basic tip, right? Drinking water always seems to be on a health tip list, and that’s for a good reason. When it comes to keeping Mr. Happy hard, hydration is essential. Water supports body function, and that includes blood cells and plasma that circulate in the body, which carries oxygen to the penis. Men who are dehydrated produce higher amounts of something called angiotensin, a hormone that has been found in high amounts in men who have difficulty producing erections.

Penis Health Tip #4: Time to Trim

There’s no reason to go all ZZ Top when it comes to a penis beard. Now, no one is saying men need to shave it bare or wax on/wax off. However, keeping it low and tight not only makes the sausage look bigger, but it also preserves penile sensitivity. Having lots of course hair rubbing on the penile skin can desensitize the penis and roughen and thicken the skin. By cutting down your pubes, your penis can get some air and re-sensitize for harder, stronger erections.

Penis Health Tip #5: Penile Push-ups

Ever heard the saying, "Use it or lose it?" Well, that’s how it works with erections. Having regular erections keep everything in working order and penile tissue fresh and active. It staves off erectile dysfunction. A 2008 Finnish study showed that men who had sex at least once each week could reduce their chance of developing erectile dysfunction by 50 percent. The same study found that the more often men had sex, the more their erections strengthened and improved. Another study also found that men who ejaculated at least 21 times each month had a lower instance of penile cancer than their less-active counterparts.

A great way to keep erections strong and long is to use a specially formulated penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) every day. This oil has vital nutrients like L-carnitine for penile sensitivity, L-arginine for boosting blood flow, and vitamins A and C for healthy, firm, and supple skin.

Some Penis Health Tips for Planning for That Doctor Visit

People want to look their best - whatever "their best" may mean to any individual. That’s simply a fact of life and the reason why people spend so much time (and money) on hairstyles, beard trims, lifting weights, jogging, dieting, and all the myriad other things done in the name of achieving the look they desire. And that desire to look good extends as well to a man’s penis. Men want to follow penis health rules and recommendations so that when they are unclothed, their penis will be presented in its best light. That obviously goes for sexual partners - but it can also apply to a simple visit to the doctor. With that in mind, here are a few things to remember when preparing for a visit to a urologist or other doctor who may be examining the penis.

- He (or she) has seen it before. Maybe not this particular penis, but unless a doctor is at the very beginning of their career, they’ve encountered quite a few bare penises. Whether an individual’s penis is bent or straight, long or short, fat or thin, cut or intact, soft or hard, it’s unlikely to present a surprise to the doctor at hand - so don’t worry.

- Wash first. That said, though the doctor may have seen it all, a guy wants to make a good impression - so washing in advance is a good idea. Depending on the time of the appointment, simply taking a shower at the beginning of the day may be all that is required; however, if the meeting occurs late in the day, or if one sweats quite a bit in advance of the appointment, it doesn’t hurt to at least run a "wet wipe" or two across the penis and balls before venturing in. Those who know that they have a history of persistently strong penis odor may also wish to wash more thoroughly or apply a powder to help diminish the unwanted aroma.

- Be familiar with the penis. If a guy is not regularly active sexually - either with himself or with a partner - it pays to masturbate a night or two before the appointment. By doing so, he is "checking out the equipment" to see if there is anything he needs to ask questions about, for example, "Should I be experiencing a pain while I ejaculate?" or "Should I be worried about this little bump?" In addition, many men are mortified at the thought of getting an erection or, even worse, actually ejaculating while the doctor examines him. Masturbating the night before helps decrease the chances of either scenario playing out.

- Be open. Many men are embarrassed to talk to a doctor about their sex lives, even if that is the reason for their visit. It can be difficult, but a man should be as open as possible in terms of giving information. This doesn’t mean going into uncomfortable detail, but a man should answer the doctor’s questions fully. For example, a doctor may need to know if by "sexually active" a man means with one partner or with multiple partners. He may also need to know in what kinds of sexual activities a man has engaged, but he doesn’t need to get into too many details beyond whether protection was used, how often, et cetera. If a man is seeing a doctor whose reactions make the patient feel judged or uncomfortable, he should consider seeking help on sexual health matters elsewhere.

Exhibiting good penis health to a doctor is easier if a man already uses a top-drawer penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). The best oils will include an array of vitamins (A, B5, C, D, and E), the topical application of which will enable them to more effectively target the penis. The oil should also contain shea butter and vitamin E to help maintain well-moisturized penis skin.

Some Major Health Conditions Associated With Erectile Dysfunction

It’s become pretty common knowledge that men between the ages of 40 and 70 have experienced some form of erectile dysfunction. However, most people assume that it has to do with the aging process. While aging definitely impacts erectile function, it isn’t as cut and dry as some believe. In fact, more and more studies are showing a strong link between erectile dysfunction and severe health conditions. The getting or maintaining of an erection can often be a clue that there is something else going on in a man’s body that he needs to address, so don’t ignore it!

Here are 6 diseases linked to erectile dysfunction:

1) Heart Attack and Stroke

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is one of the first apparent signs a man can experience when he has blocked arteries. It’s so common that up to 30 percent of men who have ED also have some form of hidden blockage in their vessels, or heart disease. Blocked arteries mean there is a reduction of, and therefore damage to, to the organ that the arteries supply. The penis has arteries that get blocked first because they are so small.

Over the last 5 years, there have been several new studies that measure the relationship between heart disease and ED. It’s such an active link that 15 percent of men with ED will have a heart attack or stroke within 5 years of diagnosis.

2) Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)

CAD is an illness in which cholesterol and plaque accumulate within the arteries and results in them becoming stiff and narrow. It’s the primary cause of heart disease in men and women and the number one cause of death in the United States overall. According to several major studies, there is a link between ED and the endothelium, which is the lining of the blood vessels. Because the endothelium is damaged, it will have a difficult time relaxing, and thus not let blood flow to the penis.

3) Diabetes

Diabetes is one of the most linked disease states to ED. The connection is so strong that men with diabetes are up to 6 times more likely to develop ED because the disease not only disturbs blood flow but also damages the nerves. This also has a one-two punch because diabetes can also lead to strokes and heart attacks.

4) Liver Disease

This disease is linked to ED due to its ability to destroy testosterone production, which leads to decreased sex drive. People who have liver disease have elevated levels of the sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) and less albumin because this reduces a man’s free testosterone levels. As drive drops, so do erections.

Also, if liver disease is caused by alcoholism, that delivers an additional chance of ED since alcohol abuse can damage the arteries that provide blood to the penis.

5) Dementia

This fifth disease state linked to prostate cancer is a bit of a sticky wicket. There isn’t enough clinical data to show that dementia causes ED or vice versa. However, both have the same risk factors, like elevated cholesterol, diabetes, and atherosclerosis, for instance. There is also a study from 2015 that shows that men with ED are over 1.6 times more likely to develop dementia than men who do not suffer from the disorder.

6) Prostate Cancer

Okay, so prostate cancer itself isn’t linked to ED; however, the treatments commonly used to fight that cancer, such as surgery or radiation, can cause it. This is because both can damage the nerves and blood vessels, leading to a lack of blood flow to the penis.

How to Treat ED

Men with ED can feel like it’s a lost cause. This is such a pervasive feeling that almost 75 percent of men who have ED do not seek treatment out of embarrassment or shame. However, there is hope. Many men who make lifestyle changes have reduced or reversed their ED. Creating healthy habits in sleep, diet, exercise, and stress management are the key to healthy erectile function.

Other things can help men with ED. There are many popular medications out there that can treat ED. Men can also choose to use a specially formulated penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) to help them boost blood flow to the penis. These oils contain nutrients like L-arginine and vitamin C, both of which have been shown to be vasodilators, making it easier for blood vessels to relax and open, allowing blood to flood the penis for a firm erection. Use daily for best results.

Penis Problems: Adult Wet Dreams

Hopefully, most men will experience few - perhaps no - penis problems of any consequence during their lives. Defining "penis problems," of course, depends upon the individual. Certainly anything that directly and negatively impacts penis health is one, but there are some more, relatively minor, issues that some men might classify as penis problems and some might not. In this second category might be listed the issue of adult wet dreams. Read on to learn more.

Adult?

Many men who read that last paragraph may be puzzled, thinking that wet dreams are strictly an adolescent concern that they left behind in high school, along with geometry homework and mandatory assemblies. But while it’s true that wet dreams are much, much more common during puberty, the fact is that a man can have wet dreams at any point in his post-pubertal life. Not only are adult wet dreams possible, but they also are something most men experience, at least once or twice.

Back to basics

Wet dreams, known medically as nocturnal emissions and also as sleep orgasms, are a normal part of becoming a man - and a woman as well. (Yes, women can have wet dreams, too.) During puberty, as the body is changing from a child to an adult, it is overloaded with hormones. Some of these hormones help the penis to grow and the testes to start producing sperm, preparing a guy for his upcoming sexual experiences.

During this period, boys have erotic dreams that sometimes, due to the hormones being pumped around the body, result in the penis ejaculating while they sleep. The majority of boys experience this, although to varying degrees, for a period of time. Eventually, things get balanced out hormone-wise, and a guy stops having them on as frequent a basis as he does during part of puberty.

So why in adulthood?

Just because a guy stops having frequent wet dreams doesn’t mean he’s necessarily through with them forever, however. Many men report having an occasional wet dream in their 20s or 30s; some report having them well into middle age. But since the body has long since finished with puberty, why are the emissions continuing?

There are generally 2 reasons why a man might have wet dreams as an adult.

One, he’s essentially masturbating in his sleep. That doesn’t mean wrapping his hand around his penis and stroking, however; it more generally means that he may be lying on his stomach as he sleeps. Men typically get several spontaneous erections as they sleep. If one occurs while he is prone in this position, he may experience an erotic dream and unconsciously rub his penis against the mattress in such a way as to bring about the emission.

The other reason is that the wet dream is his body’s way of telling he it’s been too long since he ejaculated. The penis needs to be "exercised" regularly, and that includes ejaculating. Going for a long period of time not only increases the amount of semen stored in the balls (although only up to a point), it also makes the penis think it needs to get rid of that semen both for more "room" in the balls and to keep itself in good ejaculatory shape - use it or lose it, so to speak.

So, there’s nothing wrong with an adult having occasional wet dreams. If it bothers him, he may try masturbating more frequently and/or sleeping on his back. If they occur with regularity and are causing him concern, he should consult with a doctor.

Adult wet dreams are among the lesser penis problems, many of which can be aided by use of a top-drawer penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) . Oils that contain vitamin A are valuable, as that vitamin’s anti-bacterial properties can help fight persistent penis odor. If the oil also contains vitamin D, so much the better, as vitamin D has proven benefits in fighting diseases and supporting healthy cellular function.

Is Air Pollution a Penis Health Problem?

Environmental issues are a major concern for everyone on the planet, as our lives depend on maintaining a livable environment. Potential health issues related to pollution have been documented and discussed for years. But beyond overall health, is air pollution a factor in penis health? Some recent studies suggest that yes, it may well be.

The pollution problem

According to the U.S. National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, air pollution is defined as "a mixture of natural and man-made substances in the air we breathe." These substances either are not meant to be inhaled into the human body at all or else only in small quantities. When these substances are too abundant in the air, people cannot help but inhale them, which can potentially cause significant health problems. Among the problems associated with air pollution are respiratory diseases, heart diseases, pregnancy issues, and much more.

Air pollution is a widespread problem. The American Lung Association estimates that more than 40 percent of Americans are at risk of death or disease due to air pollution. Worldwide, air pollution resulted in 4.2 million premature deaths in 2016 alone, with 90 percent of those deaths occurring in poor and underdeveloped countries. Ninety-two percent of the people in the world live where air pollution is considered unsafe.

The penis impact

Air pollution doesn’t just affect organs like the heart and lungs; it also appears to have an impact on penis health as well and in at least 2 ways.

Erectile function. A recent study from China looked at the effects of vehicle exhaust on otherwise healthy rats. (Yes, this study is looking at rats, which are clearly not human - no matter what some people may snidely assert. But it’s unethical to conduct tests of this sort on human subjects, as it could lead to possibly permanent damage to their health.)

The rats were divided into 4 groups of 10 rats each. One group received no exposure to vehicle exhaust. The other 3 groups received, respectively, 2 hours, 4 hours, and 6 hours of exposure each day, 5 days a week. The higher the rate at which the rats were exposed to air pollution, the greater the incidence of erectile dysfunction that developed among the poor little fellows.

Again, this study looked at animals, not humans, but it does suggest that breathing in a lot of air pollution is bad for a man’s erectile status.

Semen quality . Another study has focused on what exposure to air pollution may do to semen quality. Once again, this study - conducted in Brazil - focused not on humans but on mice, again for the reason stated above.

Once again, the subjects were divided into 4 groups. One group received only healthy filtered air. A second was exposed to air pollution only while they were in the womb. For a third group, exposure to air pollution started during pregnancy and continued until adulthood. And a fourth group was not exposed during pregnancy but was exposed after birth until adulthood.

All of the mice exposed to air pollution exhibited damaged sperm; the longer they were exposed to air pollution, the more damage there was to their sperm. Again, assuming that this same pattern holds true for humans, it implies that men with greater exposure to air pollution will have a greater number of damaged sperm.

More studies are needed, but it does seem clear that increasing air pollution will have negative effects on men exposed to it.

Air pollution is a complicated penis health problem; for more everyday issues, men should avail themselves of a superior penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) . Look for oils that contain both L-arginine and alpha lipoic acid. L-arginine, an amino acid, helps the body produce the nitric oxide that enables penile blood vessels to accommodate increased blood flow. Alpha lipoic acid, a powerful antioxidant, fights free radicals that can cause significant oxidative damage.

Some Important Questions About Penis Health Answered

The penis is a complex and wondrous thing, so it’s no wonder it inspires much pondering and even more questions about its how’s and why’s. Add that to the Information Age, and there’s no limit to the content that a man can Google. However, where can a man turn to answer those delicate questions and come away with truthful, informative answers? Here’s a hint, it’s right here. Read on about 7 important questions men ask about penis health and how to have the healthiest penis possible.

Penis Health Question #1: Is circumcision good or bad?

There are upsides and downsides to circumcision. Many men don’t get to make a choice for themselves, as parents opt for circumcision immediately after birth. Let’s talk about the drawbacks of each. Uncircumcised penises are more prone to smegma, phimosis, and paraphimosis and tend to be a touch more sensitive than their hoodless counterparts. Circumcised men are more likely to experience irritation and chafing and are more susceptible to sexually transmitted infections. Whether cut or uncut, 2 things are constant: 1. always practice safe sex, and 2. clean the penis thoroughly and daily to avoid smegma and balanitis.

Penis Health Question #2: Is it normal for pee to be different colors?

There are some perfectly normal reasons for urine to be something other than a light yellow. Sometimes it will take on the color of what a man eats, especially reds and greens. Other times, urine can inform a man about things that are going on in his body. Clear urine can indicate a man is overhydrated, whereas orange or brown suggests the opposite. Bloody, blue, cloudy, or green urine can be a sign of an infection or internal health issue. See a doctor if concerned.

Penis Health Question #3: Does a normal penis have a bend or curve to it?

A slight curve or bend is entirely normal. However, if a man has a significant bend that’s causing pain, it could be a sign of Peyronie’s disease. This happens when scar tissue builds up in the penis, causing it to curve to one side. Scar tissue can be the result of a major penile trauma or repeated smaller injuries. If the bend is too much, see a urologist or primary care physician ASAP.

Penis Health Question #4: What is the right amount of ejaculate?

There’s no real “perfect” amount, but if a man is noticing he’s producing less than he used to, he could be suffering from perceived ejaculate volume reduction (PEVR). PEVR can be caused by diabetes, depression, medication, and testicular conditions. See a health professional if PEVR is suspected.

Penis Health Question #5: Can a man break his penis?

Actually, yes, but it is most often called a penis fracture because the penis doesn’t have a bone per se. Penis fractures happen when the inner lining of the penis is torn. This is commonly caused by rough sex. Symptoms of a penile fracture include a blue or black hue, flattening, and a popping noise at the time of fracture. Head to the ER immediately because a penile fracture is a severe medical emergency.

Penis Health Question #6: What’s going on when a man’s peeing more than usual?

Frequent urination could be an indicator of a few things such as diabetes, a urinary tract infection, and something called interstitial cystitis, which is an inflammation of the bladder muscles. If it’s often happening or if there’s burning accompanying the excessive urination, see a doctor as soon as possible.

Penis Health Question #7: Is it true if a man doesn’t use it, he’s going to lose it?

Well, yes and no. There’s no clinical evidence that a man will lose his erection forever if he hasn’t had sexual contact with himself or a partner in a while. However, he may find that his drive has declined, and he has a higher chance of erectile dysfunction. Like any muscle, the penis needs a workout. The more a man works it out (safely, of course), the more powerful it can be. Of course, if a man is getting regular “workouts” for his love muscle, he should add a quality penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) every day. He needs an oil that is specifically created for delicate penile skin, and one that provides all the critical nutrients the penis needs to encourage rejuvenation and soft, elastic skin while boosting blood flow and vigor. There’s no question about it!

Penis Health Hacks for a Happy Penis

With the number of gyms and sports clubs in the nation indicating a continuing national fascination with physical health, it’s a wonder there isn’t more attention paid to the equally important matter of maintaining proper penis health. Make no mistake about it: a healthy penis is a happy penis, but penis health doesn’t just happen without any effort. Maintaining penis health may not require a man’s little friend to do push-ups or squats, but there are some steps that need to be taken.

The hacks below are valuable ways to help maintain that much-needed penis health.

- Don’t let it gather dust in the garage. Car aficionados know that letting an automobile sit idle for too long a stretch is not good for it, and the same is true of the penis. A happy penis, one whose owner makes sure he gets taken out for a ride on a regular basis, will repay the owner with better f8unctioning. When the penis goes too long without some form of sexual activity – whether a fascinating visit with a partner or some quality time wrapped in a fist – the tissues suffer. Erections and long-term sexual activity bring fresh oxygen-rich blood to the organ; without that, the penis gets to feeling a little tired. There also is evidence that frequent ejaculations help to keep the prostate healthy as well. So men, remember to use it or lose it where the penis is concerned.

- Don’t let it be active alone. Making sure the penis gets plenty of exercise is important – but the rest of the body needs to get its fair share as well. Obesity, which is an increasing problem in America and other parts of the world, has an indirect effect on penis health. When the body is out of shape, there’s less stamina for sex, the heart has a harder time pumping oxygen around the body (which is needed for healthy organs and for erections) and high blood pressure can impact performance. In addition to getting sufficient exercise, it pays to keep an eye on the diet. Increasing fruits and vegetables and decreasing sweets may be a good way to help shed those pounds. (It’s a good idea to talk with a doctor about changes to diet and exercise routines before initiating them.)

- Switch things up. It’s not unusual for people to fall into routines – including the way they masturbate. Some guys find they stroke themselves in exactly the same way, night after night after night. This can lead to de-sensitization of the penis, so that a man needs to be stroked in exactly the same way, and usually for a longer and/.or more intense period of time – and that can sometimes lead to trouble when the hand is replaced with a partner and their various body parts. Taking the time to change strokes, touches, and pressures can help keep the penis properly sensitized.

- Drink a lot – of water. Too much alcohol can be an anti-stimulant, causing the dreaded “whiskey dick” that refuses to rise to the occasion. Similarly, drinking too LITTLE water can be damaging. Not only does dehydration affect the penis negatively, mas it does the body as a whole, but it also means that more angiotensin, which raises blood pressure, gets produced. Don’t want that.

The penis health that produces a happy penis is greatly enhanced by the daily use of a top drawer penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). Look especially for a crème that contains both L-arginine and L-carnitine., the former is an amino acid and it helps the body produce nitric oxide – which in turns helps keep penile blood vessels receptive to increased blood flow. The latter is important for preventing loss of penis sensation, as can occur for men who are too set in their masturbatory routines.

Got Penis Problems? Here are Five Habits to Kick to Improve Penis Health

Noticing things are acting up a bit in the wrong way down below? It could be a lack of boner or maybe a dwindling of desire. Perhaps a man can get it up, but he can’t release to get it back down. No matter the penis problem, there are a few habits a man can turn around to get his penis health back in balance. Here are a few everyday habits that can cause a limp lover and the ways a man can remedy it.

Habit #1: Chowing Down on Fried Foods

Any man who wants a powerful erection needs to ban drive-thru’s (don’t do walk up either). Foods that are high in cholesterol and trans fats, like those sinful pork tenderloin sandwiches and fries, can put a stopper on blood flow to the area causing a significant penis problem. These types of foods can cause inflammation in the blood vessels, which inhibits blood movement to a man’s joint.

Fix it: Eat a diet full of protein, healthy carbs, fruits, veggies, and good fats. Not only will it make a man feel better and be healthier overall, but it will also make him “strong like bull” in the cajones. Make fried foods an occasional cheat, not a habitual meal to keep penis health high.

Habit #2: Lay off the Sauce

Every man has heard of the infamous penis problem: whiskey dick, the ill-famed deflation of the penis due to the imbibing mass quantities of alcohol (not whiskey specifically). Whiskey dick can also go the other way; a man can get an erection but just can’t make it to the goal line, leaving him unsatisfied and his partner probably pretty sore.

Those are short-term issues though, right? Wrong! Over time, alcoholism can lead a man to lack of interest in making the love and erectile dysfunction. Also, drinking can impair judgment which can lead to pregnancies and STD’s.

On the flip-side, men who keep their drinking to a minimum have stronger erections and more intense orgasms.

Fix it: Know when to say when. The CDC recommends a man have no more two drinks each day. If it’s too hard to do solo, find a program to help.

Habit #3: Getting too Little REM (not the band)

Not only does getting too little sleep affect a man’s penis, but it also affects his demeanor, and no one wants to have sex with a Grumpy Gus. Clinically, lack of sleep can reduce testosterone which is critical for knocking those boots. Not getting enough restorative sleep then decreases libido and can cause erectile dysfunction.

Fix it: It’s pretty straightforward – get those seven to eight hours of sleep each night to avoid this penis problem. No excuses. Turn off screens an hour (minimum) before bedtime and relax instead to ensure a nice transition from a busy day into a blissful slumber.

Habit #4: Loving One’s Self a Little Too Hard or Too Much

Masturbation is a healthy and utterly normal practice among humans around the world. Excessive self-pleasure, however, can desensitize the penis and result in erectile dysfunction. It can also cause a man to be less responsive when he engages intimately with a partner because he is so used to the tension and rapid stroking of his hand.

Fix it: Keep masturbation in a healthy zone. If it gets harder and harder to orgasm while masturbating or with a partner, it may mean a man is getting in too much alone time in. Take a knee and let the penis resensitize. If it’s become an addiction, seek professional help.

Habit #5: Getting Clipper Crazy

First of all, kudos on the manscaping! It’s a wonderful way to keep the penis fresh and safeguard sensitivity (not to mention it makes everything appear a bit bigger). However, according to a study published in JAMA Dermatology, it was found that of the 66 percent of men who said they groom the downstairs, 26 percent experienced an injury related to sheering the sheep. Too much grooming the private parts can actually lead to bacterial and fungal infections, cuts, and razor burn; all of which are definitely not fun penis problems to have.

Fix it: Find a method of hair removal that works and be very careful when doing it to preserve penis health. Also, don’t weed-wack too often to keep the skin in fine form. Even better, use a restorative specially formulated penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) to heal and soothe the delicate penile skin. It’s calming and promotes elasticity which makes skin stronger and more flexible.

5 Things Your Penis is Telling You About Your Health

There are many ways to gauge one’s overall health. Annual exams, x-rays, MRIs, and CAT scans are one way to go. The new ager may read their tongue, toss the runes, or have their aura cleansed. One sure-fire barometer of a man’s health happens to be his one-eyed snake. A man’s penis can tell him a lot about his health outside of just penis health. Here are five signals your penis may be sending you that something is not quite right inside.

Penis Signal #1: Soft is the New Hard

Penis feeling tired, lackluster, or literally just hanging around? It could be your heart’s not into it, literally that is. Men who experience moderate to severe erectile dysfunction are more likely to have heart problems. How’s the penis communicate that? Erections are controlled by blood flow, and when blood flow goes down, well, so does the penis. Head to your GP to get a workup and see if your ticker is what’s ticking off your sex life.

Penis Signal #2: You Don’t Have Sex Drive; You Have Sex Crawl

When libido goes down, it’s time to see what’s up. There are lots of reasons sex drive gets thrown into neutral. Depression, new medication, and low T are all potential causes. However, one disorder that is dangerously overlooked is obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This is a sleep disorder in which the airway is blocked. This stops the body from getting all the oxygen it needs during sleep. German researchers found that men with OSA had sexual desire levels 11 percent lower than men without the disorder. OSA can also lead to Low T. If you hear complaints of loud snoring, wake up gasping for air, and feel fatigued during the day, see a doctor to check symptoms.

Penis Signal #3: Seeing Red When Urinating?

Seeing pink before you flush? That’s no bueno. It could be a sign of bladder, prostate, or kidney disease, or maybe just an overly intense sexual experience. Regardless of the believed reason, head to the doctor ASAP to see what’s going on.

Penis Signal #4: Are You on Pee Patrol?

Are you peeing all the time? It could be prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) which is a disease the affects nearly 90 percent of men in there 70s and 80s but is rarer in those not getting the Senior Special at Denny’s. When the prostate is enlarged, it presses on the tube that transports urine from the body, and that gives that gotta pee feeling. Most times this is treated with alpha-blockers which relax everything and return you to your usual bathroom routine.

Penis Signal #5: The Orgasm (or the Product of it) Goes Bye-bye

Shooting blanks or not getting it out of the barrel? Men who either aren’t orgasming or not producing ejaculate could have Low T. Testosterone helps produce semen. The more semen, the higher the force of the ejaculation. About one-third of the men who take selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) for depression have difficulty in reaching release. The remedy could be as easy as asking your doc to switch you to a more semen-friendly medication.

While penis problems can be sometimes be prevented and others times not, there is one consistent – good penis hygiene increases penis health. By keeping the penis clean and well-cared for, it can be stronger and therefore, always ready for action. To ensure you’re doing everything you can, consider using a specially formulated penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) to hydrate, protect, and boost the penis. Use a crème that is chock full of vitamins and nutrients to protect against wear and tear, sensitivity thieves, and bacteria which can prematurely age the penis.

Penis Power Food: What to Eat for a Wiley Willy

Americans are slowly learning that food is sometimes the best medicine. Having a balanced, nutrient-rich diet is excellent for the body, heart, and mind. But wait, can certain foods also be especially useful for penis health? They can, indeed. Read on to learn more about the penis power foods to eat for a host of benefits for the big li’l guy.

Penis Power Foods to Boost Libido and Testosterone

It may come as a surprise, but there are a ton of foods that boost testosterone and stoke libido. Include a couple of these every day, and you’ll be in the mood for love 24-7.

Salmon – This sexy fish provides selenium, magnesium, and vitamin D, all of which support testosterone levels and keep sperm healthy.

Avocado – Full of healthy omega-3 fatty acids, avocados boost heart health. They also have lots of folic acid, which regulates prolactin, the libido lifter.

Spinach – Popeye was onto something. This leafy green contains magnesium, a significant nutrient for sustaining healthy testosterone levels as a man gets older.

Bok Choy – This cruciferous veggie contains glucobrassicin, a compound that assists the body in getting rid of excess libido-killing estrogen, thereby boosting sex drive.

Celery – Aside from its alleged “sperm projectile” qualities, this bad boy of the veggie family gives off a peculiar scent that makes people go wild. The smell is derived from two steroids called androsterone and androstanol. When celery is eaten, the scent entices the opposite sex and considerably amplifies arousal. It also contains L-arginine, which expands blood vessels to strengthen erections.

Figs – These tasty bits of goodness contain a bevy of sexy-time makers such as fiber, potassium, and magnesium. This combo increases the releasing of pheromones, resulting in more amour.

Penis Power Foods to Michael Phelps Those Swimmers

Fertility on the brain and needing some Olympic-level swimmers to get the gold? Add one or two of these foods every day, and you’ll be singing lullabies before you know it.

Oysters – Slurp just two of these slippery shellfish a day to get a full day’s zinc, a mineral that boosts sperm numbers and motility.

Carrots – A favorite food of the baby-making bunny, carrots have a ton of vitamin A, which regulates progesterone, a hormone that encourages sperm production.

Brazil Nuts – Grab a handful a day to get a super dose of selenium, which is critical for sperm production and motility. And bonus…they make a great mid-day, on-the-go snack.

Penis Power Foods for Stronger Erections and Better Sex

These foods are here to (clap) pump you up! Add one in every day to turn your pony into an Arabian steed.

Beets – Okay, okay, beets are definitely a love ’em or hate ’em sort of thing. However, it behooves men everywhere to get on board. Beets are high in nitrates, making them excellent vasodilators. They open up the blood vessels and stimulate blood flow for stronger, longer erections.

Bananas – No wonder that Chiquita banana lady looks so happy. Bananas contain bromelain, an enzyme that thins the blood and increases testosterone. The potassium in bananas also helps blood circulate and bring a metaphorical banana to your trousers.

Chilies – This penis power food is no surprise! Chilies contain capsaicin, a chemical that stimulates nerves and raises heart rate. They also flood the body with endorphins and other “feel good” hormones that intensify sex.

Penis Power Foods for Penis Health

These penis power foods contribute to overall penis health and should be part of a balanced diet.

Sardines – This silvery fish so loved by the Keto crowd contains nearly one-third of a man’s daily intake of vitamin D, which has been shown to sustain testosterone levels and ward off erectile dysfunction.

Apples – Containing the flavonoid quercetin, apples inhibit the secretion of the prostate-specific, androgen-regulated, tumor markers in the prostate cells, reducing a man’s risk of prostate cancer.

Want to supplement the penis power food plan with something that will deliver numerous vitamins and minerals in one enjoyable swipe? Try adding a specially formulated penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) to your everyday regimen. These crèmes not only deliver vitamins A, B, C, D, and E to the penis, but also keep the penis hydrated, supple, and protected from the elements and common issues like nerve damage and dryness.

Keep Penis Health in Mind When Choosing Underwear

It may be too much to say that a healthy penis is a healthy mind, but men who truly care about their overall health do indeed want to spend some time addressing any potential penis health concerns. That’s why they make sure their penis gets plenty of appropriate exercise (which is fortunately quite enjoyable), inspect it for signs of wear and tear, treat it properly in terms of getting plenty of rest and eating right, and so on. But one area where a man might conceivably fall down? Choosing appropriate underwear for penis health.

Underwear? Really?

Now it is true that in terms of penis health, underwear selection ranks far below taking showers in scalding hot water, masturbating for hours with absolutely no lubrication, or walking naked through waist-high stems of poison ivy. But not all underwear is created equal, and sometimes what graces one’s penis can indeed make a difference.

For example, let’s look at penis odor – not anyone’s favorite topic, but a big issue for many men. No guy LIKES to have a fetid aroma arising from his otherwise appealing penis, but it does happen. One reason it occurs is because a guy sweats too ferociously in the crotch area. That’s natural – there’s a lot of hair there, two layers of clothing makes it hotter, etc. But choice of underwear can make a difference. A guy with a sweaty penis shouldn’t be wearing tighty-whiteys (or greeneys, or any color). The tightness only makes things hotter, adding to the sweat quotient.

But going with boxer briefs is even worse – there’s every bit as much tightness, plus more of the area is snugly covered, making it even hotter. Loose, cotton boxers are generally the better choice for the guy with an excessively-moist penis.

And moisture issues aside, turning the heat up too high in the crotch can dampen production of sperm over time. So men who wish to be fathers may want to let things hang a little looser.

Rubbing the wrong way

On the other hand, some guys aren’t built for loose cotton boxers. They have very sensitive penises which get overly excited by rubbing against loose cotton. Not only does this create embarrassing erect states, but it can over time cause a “rubbed raw” situation where the skin develops a dry, rashy look – and where the penis may actually find it loses a degree of sensation, which is not what any man wants.

Also, some men NEED the snug fit of briefs or boxer briefs. Their penis and balls hang in such a way that it can be uncomfortable to let them have too much freedom. A snug fitting pair of briefs may be just what they need to keep comfortable.

An, of course, there’s always the jock option., Guys tend not to like jocks and athletic supporters, but for those that are athletically inclined, wearing some form of protection can be important – especially if a line-drive baseball has your penis’s name written on it.

Choosing the right underwear is just one way that a guy can help make good penis health choices. Another, naturally enough, is to daily apply a top notch penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) to the package. There are many different cremes to choose from, but take the time to find one that is going to provide the most pack to the punch – such as one with the whole complement of vitamins A, B5, C, D and E. Applied topically to the penis, these vitamins can offer their benefits more directly and efficiently. Also crucial: that the crème contains a powerful antioxidant to protect the skin. One such candidate is alpha lipoic acid, which helps fight excess free radicals that can otherwise cause oxidative damage.

Semen Retention Can Affect Penis Health

All men, and especially those who are sexually active, are advised to keep an eye on their overall penis health. After all, when a man has good penis health, he is more likely to perform at his highest level in bed than he is when penis health issues are present. There are many ways to practice good penis care, some of which use scientific evidence to support their efficacy. But many men also use practices that are based not on science but on other factors, like common sense or tradition or folklore. For example, many guys practice semen retention as one way of improving penis health and sexual efficacy. But does semen retention really impact penis health in this way?

What is semen retention?

For once, a name for a sexual activity or device doesn’t need a lot of explaining. When a man practices semen retention, it basically means he is taking steps to keep his semen inside of his body rather than letting it ejaculate out. In other words, he is refraining from engaging in sexual activity, either partner-based or with himself.

Some semen retentionists say this definition is not 100% accurate. They say that a man can be sexually active – he just has to stop short of actually ejaculating. More hard-liner semen retentionists disagree; they say that men naturally lose some seed during foreplay when pre-ejaculate escapes from the penis to provide natural lubrication and so should refrain from sexual activity even if it stops short of ejaculation.

Whichever definition one uses, the main theme is clear: these people believe there are benefits to semen retention.

So what are they?

Benefits

One of the benefits that semen retentionists promote is that it enables a man to produce a bigger load – and there is certainly some truth to this. However, this largely depends upon what a man’s typical ejaculation schedule is and how that changes if he decides to retain his semen. A man who masturbates twice a day and cuts down to masturbating twice a week should certainly see some difference, as it gives his body more time to produce semen. However, a man who ejaculates once a week and who decides to store his semen for a full month won’t really see an increase in semen production during that time.

Some claim that fewer ejaculations results in more energy. There’s a basis for this, in that one of the hormones released during ejaculation is prolactin, and it does tend to make a guy feel a bit drowsy. But it is questionable whether this alone would account for feeling more energetic. Perhaps this effect is seen more in men who masturbate regularly for lengthy period of time before bed and who simply get more sleep when they refrain from ejaculating.

For men wanting to sire a child, semen retention makes sense, as refraining from ejaculating for a week or so has been associated with greater sperm motility, or how well they swim. Similarly, it’s thought that testosterone levels will increase when a guy shoots less frequently. Studies are needed, however, to verify exactly how this works and whether the difference is significant.

Some enthusiasts believe that semen retention can even lengthen a man’s life and increase his cognitive function; but again, more evidence is needed to prove or refute claims like these.

So, semen retention, at least within reason, does not harm penis health and may benefit it. Certainly one thing that CAN benefit penis health is regular use of a first-rate penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin). It is best to look at the crème’s ingredients and be sure it includes a range of vitamins, including A, B5, C, D, and E. The best crème will additionally include L-arginine, which helps boost nitric oxide production and helps keep penile blood vessels open and flowing.

To Do Today: Put Vitamin E Oil on the Penis for these 6 Major Benefits

Vitamin E oil is a do-it-all sort of natural product that people can use for a myriad of reasons. Dry, flaky skin? Slather it with vitamin E oil. Get a cut or scrape? Vitamin E oil. Broke a leg? Now, let’s not get crazy (but it helps with the skin healing from the cast!). There are a myriad of ways vitamin E oil helps the body, and that help also includes penis health.

Reason #1 to put Vitamin E Oil on the Penis: Dry Skin

As mentioned above, dry skin is a common complaint. Penises go through a lot each day and can often get dry and flaky from use. Drying detergents and body washes, as well as hard water, can also cause a member to get crispy. Vitamin E oil is full of lipids which provide immediate moisture and locks in that moisture to retain it all day.

Reason #2 to put Vitamin E Oil on the Penis: Fights the Aging Process

Forget receding hair and crows feet, many men would prefer to keep their penises from aging too fast! Vitamins E oil is a powerful antioxidant which decimates those free-radicals that accelerate every bad thing in the body from inflammation to cancer. It also prevents scarring when used regularly (penises can get stretch marks too!) and keeps those penile wrinkles at bay making a man’s penis more dachshund than shar pei.

Reason #3 to put Vitamin E Oil on the Penis: It Treats Conditions Like Psoriasis and Eczema

Studies have shown that vitamin E reduces psoriasis symptoms. OTher studies have indicated that the addition of vitamin E to topical creams has shown better results than with topical creams alone for treating eczema.

Reason #4 to put Vitamin E Oil on the Penis: Retain Sensitivity

A penis needs to be both elastic and firm. This dichotomy is hard to manage, but when a man puts vitamin E oil on his penis, he’s getting the best of both worlds. Because vitamin E is fat-soluble, when it’s put on the skin, the dermis seriously sucks it in so moisture is immediate. This promotes and protects collagen which is a critical component of strong skin. Strong skin protects the nerves that can often be damaged with trauma, age, and a lot of use.

Reason #5 to put Vitamin E Oil on the Penis: Treats Peyronie’s Disease

The elasticity vitamin E provides has also been shown to help men suffering with Peyronie’s Disease. Peyronie’s is a condition in which the penis has a curve of 20% or greater. It also affects one in five men! This disease happens slowly over time and can be very painful. By adding elasticity to the skin, the skin tissue can retain a healthy, straight, and long state of being when a man regularly applies vitamin E oil to the penis.

Reason #6 to put Vitamin E Oil on the Penis: A Natural Choice for Solo Play

Vitamin E is a wonderful option for self-pleasure as it is slick and moisturizing. It also softens the penis with every stroke and protects against friction burn.

A great way to add vitamin E oil to a daily regimen is by using a specially formulated penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) that contains vitamin E. The special creams are designed especially for the penis and contain other vitamins like A, B, C, and D which are noted for their rejuvenating and healing properties. In addition, men should keep it as natural as possible and use a non-irritating base like Shea butter to compliment the vitamin E. This cream will soothe and restore irritated penile skin and protect it from the elements, age, and overuse.
