Can a Big Penis Size Encourage Premature Ejaculation?

Penis size has probably been a big deal going back to the time of the caveman, but the obsession with having a big penis has increased in modern culture. This is in spite of the facts that there are not physical penis health benefits to a larger penis size and that more often skill trumps size when it comes to sexual satisfaction. However, the visual appeal and association with manliness of a big penis continue to make it desirable among many men (and among many of their partners). Yet there are some downsides associated with large penis size, and one of them might be that it can increase the chance of premature ejaculation.

Premature ejaculation

Most men are aware of premature ejaculation, which involves ejaculating "too soon" after penetration. According to most medical experts, "too soon" is basically categorized as within 1 minute or less of vaginal penetration. (The typical time to ejaculation for a man otherwise is between 4 and 8 minutes.) However, in practice, premature ejaculation depends upon the expectations of the individual man and his partner(s); some define it as simply ejaculating before their partner climaxes, whether that means 1 minute or 1 hour. Around a third of men are thought to experience premature ejaculation on a somewhat regular basis.

There are several factors that might bring about premature ejaculation, but in general it occurs because the erect penis has received a degree of frictional stimulation such that orders have been released to let the semen flow. And this is where having a big penis might be a drawback.

How might big penis size matter?

A common complaint among men with big penises, and especially those whose girth is above average, is the tightness associated with vaginal penetration. (For the woman, this can result in significant pain for her.) Sometimes. the tightness is so extreme that penetration is impossible, but more often the degree of tightness increases the degree of friction. With increased friction comes increased stimulation, and this in turn may lead to a case of premature ejaculation.

Premature ejaculation is usually a cause of distress and embarrassment for any man, but may be especially so for a man with a large penis size. Having a large penis leads to expectations on the part of many women that the man will be an exceptional lover; if he then ejaculates quickly, the added expectation adds to his feelings of inadequacy.

What to do

If the cause of a man’s premature ejaculation seems to be due to his big penis, there are a couple of options that he can consider that could help:

- Increase the lubrication. Hopefully, a man with a big penis is already using lubricant during sex, in order simply to ease penetration pain for his partner. (This is especially true for those engaging in anal sex, as the anus does not have the vagina’s ability to "help things along" by producing natural lubricant.) Where a big penis is concerned, it’s better to overestimate the amount of lube than to underestimate the amount needed.

- Increase foreplay. Taking time to relax the vagina via manual or oral stimulation (as well as via kissing, cuddling, and stroking of other erogenous zones) can help to increase vaginal receptive abilities.

When the cause of premature ejaculation moves strictly beyond penis size, a man may wish to consult a doctor to determine what additional treatments he can consider.

Premature ejaculation from a big penis size can be a challenge, so a man doesn’t need other penis health issues on top of it. Therefore, he needs to make daily application of a first-class penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) a priority. The chosen oil should include moisturizers like shea butter and vitamin E to help keep the penis skin nice and smooth; dry penis skin does not help penetrative issues. The oil should also contain vitamin C, a key component of collagen, a tissue in the body that gives skin its tone and elasticity.

Getting Good Info on Premature Ejaculation Online

When a man is suffering from premature ejaculation, he may feel embarrassed about it, despite the fact that this is quite a common penis health problem. Nevertheless, many men with premature ejaculation feel too embarrassed to talk about it with a doctor and so they turn to that ubiquitous source, the internet, for information that might be of use. But is the information online about premature ejaculation accurate and useful? A new study helps to answer that question.

The study

The internet has a reputation for giving out both good and bad information. When dealing with a health issue, such as premature ejaculation, it’s crucial that the information one receives is accurate. Recently, two researchers reviewed the content listed on a popular video platform as being about premature ejaculation in order to determine if the information presented was accurate or not.

They started by searching for any videos that came up under searches for "cure premature ejaculation," "end premature ejaculation," "stop premature ejaculation" or "premature ejaculation treatment." The search returned 800 options, but 389 were eliminated because they were duplicates. Of the remaining, a further 49 were not relevant, 284 were not in English, and 51 did not include audio, leaving 132 relevant videos.

The scientists studied these 132 videos and deemed them either reliable or unreliable. Those that were reliable contained scientifically correct information; unreliable videos contained scientifically unproven information. (If a video contained both reliable and unreliable information, it was classified as unreliable.)

And the results?

Perhaps surprisingly, the majority (70%) of videos about premature ejaculation which were viewed were consider reliable. Conversely, 30% were included in the unreliable category.

Not surprisingly, when the scientists studied the origins of the videos, they found that the reliable videos tended to come from such sources as universities, professional organizations and non-profit medical organizations. And unreliable videos were more often from a for-profit commercial company or from an advertisement for a medical product or service.

Be cautious

Men who seek information about treating premature ejaculation from this popular online video platform need to take the time to determine just who it is they are getting information from so that they can determine whether the information is likely to be accurate and true. Sometimes the information in an unreliable video may not only be inaccurate but potentially dangerous. For example, if a video suggests some DIY, homemade premature ejaculation treatments, they may suggest using products which have ingredients that may be harmful to penis skin. Many non-prescription treatments are not approved by the Food and Drug Administration and so may not even list all of the ingredients included in the product, leaving the patient with a considerable lack of information.

Although it may cause embarrassment to some men, it is strongly advised that they speak to their physicians if they are experiencing issues involving premature ejaculation rather than rely solely on online sources. However, if they are going to stick to online help, they should take pains to insure that the source of the information is reliable.

Men seek online help for penis health issues other than premature ejaculation, of course. Fortunately, by regularly applying a first class penis health oil (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) . they can help to maintain that valuable penis health. For the best results, they should seek out an oil that contains both a high end emollient (such as shea butter) and a natural hydrator (such as vitamin E). Together, these ingredients help to "lock in" moisture and keep penis skin smooth and healthy looking. The bets oil will also contain vitamin C, a key component of collagen, which gives skin its tone and elasticity. Vitamin C also encourages proper blood flow, which is essential for maintaining erectile function.

Premature Ejaculation Fixes: Lidocaine Cream vs. Lidocaine Spray

Premature ejaculation can cause a lot of issues for a man. Not only can it cause embarrassment, self-esteem plummeting, and reduced pleasure, it can also drive a wedge between him and his partner. Thankfully, science has developed a few products to help guys suffering from premature ejaculation issues. One, in particular, is lidocaine, which calms down the oversensitive of the penis while erect. Lidocaine creams and sprays both contain this strong erection helper, but there are a few differences. Let’s learn a little more about premature ejaculation, lidocaine, and which delivery type works best for you!

What is Premature Ejaculation?

Premature ejaculation happens when a man orgasms sooner than he’d like while having sexual intercourse. One out of three men experiences this at some point in their lives. There are many potential causes of premature ejaculation, which include:

- Sexual inexperience

- Depression

- History of sexual abuse or trauma

- Negative body image

- Feelings of guilt for having sex

- Worrying about premature ejaculation

- Prostate issues

- Stress

- Relationship Issues

- Diabetes

- High blood pressure

- Thyroid problems

How Lidocaine Works

Lidocaine is a universally used anesthetic. It’s likely a man has used it at some point in his life for dental work like a root canal or other medical procedures. Lidocaine works by reducing the sensitivity when applied to a man’s skin, muscles, or other bodily tissue.

When used as a treatment for premature ejaculation, lidocaine works by reducing penile sensitivity, in turn, letting a man last longer during sex. Now, the lidocaine used in medical procedures is a far more potent dosage. For a stronger erection that lasts, only a small dosage should be used so a man can still feel pleasure during sex, but powerful enough that it can take the edge off of oversensitivity.

Lidocaine Cream and Premature Ejaculation

Lidocaine cream can be applied to the tip, or glans, of the penis as it is the most sensitive to touch. Most lidocaine creams made for this specific reason use a mixture of lidocaine and prilocaine, which is another topical anesthetic that is a bit less potent than lidocaine.

Studies show that this combination is very successful in increasing the duration of intercourse when taken approximately 30 minutes before sex. This cream is also inexpensive and usually stocked at most pharmacies. All a man needs is a script from his doc.

The drawback of lidocaine cream? It can get messy, and sometimes things can go astray. A man has to be very careful with it. After applying it to the tip of the penis, a man needs to very thoroughly wash his hands with soap and water, so he doesn’t inadvertently touch other parts of his or his partner’s body. A man also must remember to wash his penis after 20-30 minutes (yep, that’s right before hitting the sheets) so the cream doesn’t numb his partner’s happy spots.

Lidocaine Spray and Premature Ejaculation

The most significant difference between lidocaine cream and lidocaine spray (except for delivery method) is that the spray is exclusively lidocaine. The spray is also designed to be used anywhere on the penis, from the top of the glans to the underside of the shaft. It should be applied 10-15 minutes before getting busy. A man will still need to wash his hands immediately after using it.

Studies have shown that lidocaine spray is an effective treatment for premature ejaculation and can help a man last six to seven times longer in bed than without it. As compared to the cream, the spray acts faster and is easier and cleaner to use. Sprays also come in metered-dose bottles, so men can use the correct dosage and not guesstimate as they would with a cream.

The drawback of lidocaine spray? It has been shown to reduce some men's sensitivity minimally, but not so much as to negatively impact sexual response and enjoyment.

In Summary

Men who suffer from premature ejaculation can use lidocaine cream or lidocaine spray to make them last longer in the sack. Both are effective; it just depends on which benefits are more important to a man. For a man looking for quicker reaction time, a spray may be the way to go. For men who don’t want the possibility of feeling too insensitive, a cream will pave the way to satisfaction. No matter which avenue a man goes, he should be sure to nurture and protect his penis all the time in-between with a specially formulated penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven safe and mild for skin) to fortify and protect the penis. Comprised of several vital nutrients and vitamins, a penis crème protects the delicate penile skin from the elements while boosting blood flow and fortifying it for longer, stronger erections.

Penis Function Issues: Dealing with Premature Ejaculation

There are hundreds of reasons to focus on penis health, but one reason why men make it a priority is because a healthy penis is generally in a better position to perform better sexually. Almost every man worries at some point about penis function and how an issue in this area could impact his sex life. One of the more common penis function challenges involves premature ejaculation.

Guys don’t like to talk about premature ejaculation, much less admit that they suffer from it, but it is actually a fairly common predicament. There have been numerous studies which have tried to determine exactly how common, with most finding that between 20% and 70% of men reported experiencing premature ejaculation at some time in their lives. One of the reasons for the wide variance in percentages is that until recently there was no solid definition for premature ejaculation. (In recent years, an accepted definition includes ejaculating within one minute or less of vaginal penetration.)

However, while the definition is valuable for research studies, the fact remains that if a man considers himself a premature ejaculator, even if his ejaculation release time is much longer than one minute, then he is going to wish to be able to extend his release time.

Tips

So if a man considers himself a premature ejaculator, what are some strategies he can employ to try to last longer in bed?

- Talk about it. First, it pays to know whether a partner or partners share a man’s assessment. They may be perfectly satisfied with sex the way it is and see no need for him to try to prolong his release time. If this is the case, the man may wish to reconsider his plans.

- Change positions. Different sex positions can stimulate the penis in different ways – so trying a new position may allow a man to last longer.

- Wear a condom. Sometimes having an extra layer on the penis diminishes sensitivity enough that a man can prolong his bed game.

- Edge. Edging is bringing the penis to the point at which it almost ejaculates and then stopping – and repeating several times. Many men employ edging when masturbating as a way of learning how to delay ejaculation while having partner sex. It is recommended a guy try this alone for a while, then discuss a partner-based version – that is, having sex, but withdrawing when ejaculation approaches, letting it subside a little, and then starting up again.

- Masturbate first. It can often help to masturbate before a date, so that when sex is available a few hours later, the penis may be less prone to releasing early.

- Work the penis muscles. Actually, the PC muscle – with PC standing for pubbococcygeus. This is the same muscle a man uses when he is urinating and needs to stop the urine from coming out. And it can play a similar role in preventing ejaculation. Squeezing and releasing that muscle helps to exercise it. One way to do so is to squeeze and release 20 times and then hold it on the last one for 15 or 20 seconds. Repeat this two or three times a day, then move on up to 25 or 30 squeezes, etc.

Premature ejaculation is nothing to be ashamed of – and many men who release quickly are able to continue engaging in sexual activities that please their partners tremendously.

Working penis function to improve premature ejaculation is easier if the penis is in good shape, so regular use of a first class penis health creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) is an excellent idea. Find a crème that contains L-arginine, an amino acid that can help to keep penile blood vessels open and expanded when necessary. The creme should also include vitamin C, which helps give penis skin elasticity and also improves blood flow.

Premature Ejaculation: How Many Men Suffer from This Frustrating Problem?

Although the adult film industry would have people believe that a real man can spend hours having sex without ejaculating, the truth is that such men are definitely exceptions rather than the rule. (And, of course, when a man is actually engaged in sex, there isn’t always the option of stopping for a little while to let the urge to ejaculate lessen.) Still, men take it as a source of pride when they can "last long" while in bed - and consequently often feel ashamed when they "shoot quickly," that is experience premature ejaculation. Even men who practice exceptional penis care may have an issue with premature ejaculation - and so it is a subject of concern to many.

How widespread?

But just how common is premature ejaculation? There have been quite a few studies on the subject. Not surprisingly, the answers vary.

For example, a 2006 study referenced that worldwide 30% of men experienced premature ejaculation. However, a study from a year earlier quoted a figure of 21%. A 2015 study looking at only Italian men found prevalence of 18.5%.

Confusion

Clearly, there is some disagreement about how many men experience premature ejaculation. But this problem is compounded by the fact that opinions vary on how to define premature ejaculation. Most men just assume it to mean ejaculating too early, but what is too early to one man (or woman) may be different than what is too early to another man (or woman).

In recent years, there have been attempts to come up with a "universal" definition of premature ejaculation. While this effort is ongoing, more doctors and researchers seem to be basically defining premature ejaculation as the tendency to typically ejaculate within one minute of penetration.

There are other factors which can cause problems with studies, however. One of the biggest is that most studies are based on self-reported information. In other words, it is unlikely that a scientist can set up a study in which a man is actually observed engaging in intercourse so that he can independently measure the time that passes from first penetrating to ejaculation. Instead, studies rely on men to report whether they experience premature ejaculation or not. Some may not offer a time-based definition, and so a man who considers ejaculating after five minutes may classify himself as premature. And even if time-based definitions are provided, a man may not accurately assess his performance and may over- or under-estimate how long he typically "holds out" before ejaculating.

Frequency

There’s also the issue of frequency. A man should pretty clearly classify himself as premature ejaculator if he ejaculates in one minute or less almost all the time. But what if it’s three-quarters of the time? Or half the time?

It’s also not at all unusual for a young and/or inexperienced male to ejaculate very quickly when having sex. It’s the rare man who, his first time in the game doesn’t ejaculate very soon after penetration. With experience often comes skill and the ability to delay ejaculation. But some men, especially some with low self-confidence, may define themselves as premature ejaculators based on their early experiences, even though they have since learned how to delay ejaculation to a respectable degree.

The scientific world is still struggling with coming up with a definition that allows it to more accurately measure this issue; at the moment, it’s probably best to assume that somewhere around 20-25% of men experience some form of premature ejaculation issues. But that percentage could change as more information is uncovered.

Penis health does not correlate with premature ejaculation, but men who practice good penis care tend to feel better about presenting their penis to a partner. Guys should regularly use a top notch penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) that contains the amino acid L-arginine. This ingredient helps create situations where penile blood vessels are more accessible to increased blood flow. The crème should also include vitamin A, the anti-bacterial properties of which help fight unwanted and demeaning penis odor.

Sexual Health Corner: Exercises for Premature Ejaculation

More and more men today are taking greater care in attending to their penis health, and that’s excellent news. A healthy penis is a key factor when a man is working on improving his sexual health; and when talking sexual health, the issue of premature ejaculation comes up frequently. Taking steps to control ejaculatory issues is an important part of the discussion.

Hard to define
In some ways, the definition of premature ejaculation is a bit hard to pin down. According to the Mayo clinic, the "time limit" associated with premature ejaculation is one minute (or less) after penetration. Various studies have attempted to determine what the average amount of time between vaginal entrance and ejaculation is for a man. One study found that 5.4 minutes was the norm; another determined it was 7 minutes.

However, for many men (and couples), premature ejaculation is not based on one specific set time; rather, it is defined as a man ejaculating at any time prior to his partner achieving satisfaction. Under this definition, it’s possible for a man to vigorously engage in sex for, say, an hour and still ejaculate "prematurely" if his partner remains unsatisfied.

In general, it may be better to state that a man whose ejaculatory control is simply less than he would like it to be believes he is having premature ejaculation issues.

Exercises
While there is no guarantee that a man can alter the speed of ejaculation, there are some exercises in which many men engage which are associated with enhanced ejaculatory control.

- Kegels. Performing kegel exercises is recommended by many not just for ejaculatory control but also for general penis health. The pubococcygeus muscle extends along the pelvic "floor," from the pubic bone to the tailbone. If a man is urinating and needs to stop before he is finished, he naturally tightens the pubococcygeus in order to cut off urinal flow. Contracting and releasing this muscle is calling performing a "kegel." Doing two or three sets of 10 kegels every day is thought to give a man greater control during sex.

- Edging while masturbating. Many men also recommend "edging" as a way of gaining control over the ejaculation. Edging simply means masturbating to the point where a man almost ejaculates, stopping, and then resuming masturbation again until the same thing happens a second time, and repeating this for as long as possible. Some men can edge for an hour or more while masturbating and report that this helps them extend themselves during sex.

- Edging during intercourse. Also called "stop and start," this is essentially employing edging while having partner sex. The man thrusts until he is nearing ejaculation, then withdraws, waits a few moments, and begins thrusting again.

- Squeezing. As a variation on edging during intercourse, the male withdraws as ejaculation draws closer and squeezes the base of the penis very tightly until the desire to ejaculate diminishes. He then resumes thrusting. Some men find this more effective than simple edging.

For some men, premature ejaculation is based on psychological concerns; seeing a mental health therapist can help them identify issues which might result in premature ejaculation challenges.

Other ways to improve sexual health

Men who wish to improve their sexual health through premature ejaculation exercises should be aware that edging and squeezing may result in a sore (if happy) penis. Regularly using a superior penis health crème ( health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) can help alleviate that soreness. Choose a crème that is going to moisturize the raw, tender skin; one with Shea butter (a high end emollient) and vitamin E (an excellent hydrator) is best. The crème also needs to repair damage, so be sure it contains vitamins and nutrients associated with enhanced skin health, such as alpha lipoic acid and vitamins B5, C and D.

Overcoming Premature Ejaculation - Causes and Treatment Options

Premature ejaculation is a type of sexual dysfunction wherein a man is not able to exercise control over his ejaculations, and they occur before either he or his partner is ready, and in some cases before penetration has even taken place - an issue which often leaves both partners sexually unsatisfied. Due to the embarrassing nature of the problem, few men like to talk about it. However, as Andrew Kramer, MD, an assistant professor of surgery at the university of Maryland Medical Center notes, "Premature ejaculation is exceedingly common, more common than we think" … [and] "can cause distress and emotional and psychological issues, as well as self-esteem problems." With the right approach to treatment and proper penile health, most men are able to overcome this problem and go on to have a fulfilling and enjoyable sex life.

It is also important to point out that, in spite of the impression that men may get from adult films that seem to show men going for hours at a time, most men ejaculate within 5-10 minutes of penetration.

Causes of premature ejaculation
The exact causes (or causes) of premature ejaculation are not fully understood. However, the main cause appears to be psychological in nature. Anxiety, stress, depression and other emotional issues appear to be closely linked, and doctors may ask questions about a man’s stress level, sexual background, and intimate relationships when trying to pinpoint the cause.

The psychological impact
While the emotional issues described above may be to blame for premature ejaculation, the problem can also cause these issues to appear. Men who cannot control their ejaculations may experience a great deal of emotional distress and loss of self-esteem. Relationship issues may also develop if the problem is ongoing, worsening the psychological effects.
Often, working with a psychologist or sex therapist may be recommended in order to resolve any anxiety issues, guilt, relationship stress, or previous sexual trauma that may be contributing to the problem. Keeping open lines of communication with a partner - even if this means seeing a couples or sex therapist - is also essential.
Treatments for premature ejaculation
In spite of its considerable effects on a man’s psyche, the problem of premature ejaculation can generally be resolved, although success may take some time and effort. Here are some of the more common approaches to treatment:

1) Edging - this technique can be performed alone, or with an understanding partner, and allows a man to "retrain" his body to gain control over his ejaculatory response. It involves masturbating until a man feels that he is about to orgasm, then stopping - and if necessary, visualizing something unrelated to sex until the feeling subsides. This process is repeated several times, until the man is ready to let go, at which time he allows the ejaculation to proceed.

2) Antidepressants - Antidepressant medications may also be prescribed to help address this issue; on the other hand, these medications may lead to loss of sex drive in some men, so it is necessary to work closely with a doctor to achieve the right balance.

3) Numbing creams - Numbing creams and sprays may also be used to diminish the sensation and prolong the activity; however, overdoing it can lead to a reduction in sensation and have the opposite effect - namely, the inability to reach an orgasm. Some experimentation may be needed to find the right level.

Penis care for overall health and function
Engaging in appropriate care for the penis on a regular basis is another essential when it comes to overcoming sexual dysfunction. A penis that is healthy, clean and responsive can provide both the man and his partners with more pleasure, and a member that is glowing with health can help to boost a man’s confidence - a major factor in his performance.

To start, men should keep the hair neatly trimmed. Clipping or shaving the hair can help reduce unpleasant odors, give a clean and youthful appearance, and even make the penis itself seem larger.

Daily cleansing is also strongly advised to remove dirt, grime, built-up body fluids, and the accompanying foul odors that may occur. Following up a daily wash with an application of a top-drawer penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) containing targeted nutrients for penile health can significantly improve the look and feel of the penis. Products containing high-end moisturizers leave the skin feeling soft and supple, and vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants can support healthy nerve and circulatory function for better all-around performance.

Better Sex in 5 Easy Steps - Tips for a Stronger Penis

What man doesn’t want to last longer in the sack? Extending the sexual experience (hopefully) makes it that much better for both parties involved. Whether a man is struggling with premature ejaculation or already lasts a good amount of time - but wishes it were longer - most men wouldn’t turn down a few extra minutes before the big bang. The average man lasts about 5-10 minutes once they get down to business, which may be enough time to get the job done, but who would complain about more?

Learn some easy techniques to increase stamina and last longer in bed as well as how to maintain penis health and ensure it is ready for action.

1. Practice makes perfect: Work on slowing things down while masturbating; many men go fast and furious when they get the opportunity for some solo time, but this only trains a quicker ejaculatory response. Try getting almost to the point of no return, then pulling back slightly to avoid ejaculating until ready.

2. Use a cock ring: Using a cock ring helps many men to last longer, as it keeps the blood in the penis, allowing for prolonged engorgement. Simply slide the ring to the base of the penis to enjoy a longer, firmer erection.

3. Do the squeeze: If all else fails and the end is nearer than desirable, take a momentary pause in the action and firmly squeeze the head of the penis. This will place pressure on the urethra and reduce the urge to ejaculate.

4. Exercise: No, not lifting weights. Men hoping to gain control over their ejaculatory response should start performing Kegels - yes, men can do them, too! Stop the flow of urine to locate the muscle group; once they have been found, Kegels can be done any time, anywhere. Flex and hold the muscles for a count of 5 seconds, starting with 3 sets of 10 repetitions. Work up to longer sets and more repetitions to really work those muscles.

5. Repeat, repeat, repeat: Sometimes a quick sexual experience takes a guy by surprise. A lot of foreplay or sexual tension can lead to a very quick outcome. If she seems disappointed, simply assure here that there is now time for a round two, and maybe even three. After the initial encounter is over, the penis will be desensitized slightly, which increases the chance of lasting longer the next time.

Improving Penis Health
For many guys, lasting longer is just a way to make things a little more interesting for both people. However, for some guys, lasting longer means the difference between and embarrassing experience and one that is acceptable. For the man who is suffering from persistent premature ejaculation (like hitting the big finish after a thrust or two), it would be wise to talk to the doctor and make sure there isn’t a medical condition at the root of the problem. In some cases, a doc may be able to offer medication or a simple fix for the problem to help get things up and running for a longer period of time. One thing a man should not do is resort to desperate attempts to numb or desensitize the penis, as "numbing creams" can cause damage to the skin of the penis.

Keeping the penis healthy is important to a good sex life as well, men looking to improve their penis health should use a daily penis health cream (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil) full of penis-specific vitamins and minerals formulated to improve circulation, heal damaged and broken blood vessels and capillaries, fight wrinkles and heal cracked and dry skin. Massage into the skin immediately after taking a shower and enjoy the benefits of a smoother, younger looking and healthier penis.

Premature Ejaculation and Sexual Health - Help for a Leaky Manhood

Premature ejaculation can be a sticky problem, so to speak. It almost never has a single, obvious cause; and men who are affected may actually make matters worse by obsessing over the issue. Fortunately, understanding the potential causes and knowing how and when to get help can pave the way for better sexual health, both for the man who is affected and for his partner. To start with, the facts about premature ejaculation are discussed here.

What is premature ejaculation, anyway?
Loosely defined, this problem occurs whenever ejaculation takes place before both partners are ready. From a medical standpoint, doctors tend to describe it as ejaculation that takes place in under a minute of penetration. While the occasional slip may be nothing at all to worry about, when it happens on a consistent basis, it can be a matter of concern; men should not be embarrassed to address the problem with their doctor.

What causes men to ejaculate before they are ready?
There is no single underlying cause for this issue, and for most men, it can be related to a combination of factors, both psychological and physical. Some of the more common of these are as follows:

  • A past history of trying to ejaculate quickly to avoid getting "caught in the act."
  • Guilt or anxiety related to the act of sex; or performance anxiety.
  • Relationship problems.
  • Biological issues, including hormone levels, thyroid problems, and heredity.
  • Physiological issues such as nerve damage or withdrawal from certain medications.

  • What types of treatment are available?
Treating premature ejaculation depends mainly on the primary cause, and men and their partners should work with a medical professional to decide on the best form of treatment - usually a combination of self-help practices, therapy and possibly medications. Treatments may include:
    • Masturbating an hour or two before having sex;
    • The "squeeze" technique, where the man withdraws from his partner when he feels that ejaculation is imminent and squeezes the end of the penis;
    • Counseling, either on an individual basis or, especially in the case of relationship issues, with both partners;
    • Antidepressants (certain SSRIs used for treating depression and anxiety are known to help delay ejaculation. However, these medications can also lower libido levels, so they should be considered after other options;
    • Topical anesthetic creams. Prescription or over-the-counter creams can sometimes provide a numbing effect, slowing down the process. However, as some of these are really not made for the delicate skin of the penis, caution - as well as medical supervision - is advised.
A final word: maintaining penis condition
As a man works to resolve his issues with premature ejaculation, some extra attention to penis care is warranted. Protecting the penile tissue from the ravages of masturbation or prolonged sex sessions may require a few extra steps in the daily personal care regimen.

To start with, it is important to make sure that the member is clean and fresh, both before and after. A daily shower can take care of this issue, and it is also a good idea to rinse away any accumulated spermicides, body fluids, or lubes, as leaving these behind can lead to irritation and sensitive skin reactions.

The right personal care products should be a consideration here. Soaps, shampoos and body washes are designed to clean away dirt and oils, so they can have a tendency to strip away the skin’s natural oils in the process, leaving behind dry, itchy, rough-looking skin. Using a hypoallergenic cleanser, olive oil soap or even baby washes can help to eliminate this problem.

After bathing, applying a penis nutrient creme (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil) is a must to lock in moisture, condition the skin, and leave the penis feeling and looking smooth, supple and appealing.

Preventing Premature Ejaculation – Exercises for Boosting Sexual Staying Power

A woman's body and a man's body are, quite obviously, very different. As a result, much of the advice a woman gets during her doctor's appointments just doesn't apply to the average guy. But there are some things women are asked to do that men might consider for boosting penis health and function. Kegel exercises, for example, have been recommended for women for decades, but few men know about the wonderful benefits these little squeezes can have on their vital organ.

Improving Health from the Bottom Up
Bands of muscle lie beneath the pelvic organs, and this little hammock keeps everything safely inside the body. Men with weak pelvic floor muscles may develop issues with the urine stream and have difficulty stemming the flow. As the muscles that control the bladder are also related to ejaculation, these men may also have problems controlling semen – an issue which can result in premature ejaculation.

Kegel exercises, or pelvic floor exercises, can help to firm up the muscles and turn the trickle of urine off at the source.  Gaining more mastery of these muscles may also mean lasting longer in bed. Performing a repetition of the Kegel technique during sex can also allow the penis to touch parts of the vagina that may have never been touched before; and many women are intensely grateful for the added attention a well-timed Kegel can bring.

How to Kegel Like a Master
For most men, identifying the pelvic floor muscle is the most difficult part of performing a proper Kegel exercise. Thankfully, spending a little quality time in the bathroom can help to clear up confusion. While there, men can start a urine stream and then attempt to stop the flow in the middle of the action, without tightening the muscles in the legs, back or rear end. The muscles used to stop the urine flow are located in the pelvic floor, and these are the fibers that need a targeted workout.

The exercises don't have to be performed in the bathroom. In fact, most men find them easier to perform while they're lying down. During each session, men should:

    • Tighten the pelvic floor muscles
    • Hold the squeeze while counting to five
    • Relax the muscles completely
    • Repeat 10 times

This set should be performed three times per day. It might seem daunting, as some men find it difficult to perform even one Kegel properly, but with practice, the motion can get easier. It's also easy to do almost anywhere, and the squeezes can be a little addictive. No one can see the muscles flex, so people may not even know that the man they're standing next to is, at this very moment, strengthening the muscles underneath his penis. Some men take vicious glee in performing their intimate exercises during boring meetings or long training sessions. Their bodies might be at work, but their muscles are getting ready for pleasure.

    Making the Most of Exercise
Kegels can provide excellent help and intense sexual benefits, but they should be only a part of a man's penis care routine. After all, strong muscles that support the penis are only part of the tools a man needs to really enjoy intimate time. Soft and supple skin might be even more important than a strong floor, and healthy penile skin is best obtained with the help of a penis nutrient formula (most experts recommend Man1 Man Oil). The vitamins these products contain can nourish starved skin, and the quick-penetrating action can deliver emollients right where they're needed most. Applying a penis health crème daily could help a man to ensure that his penis is ready for the power strong pelvic floor muscles can deliver.

Penis Performance Training: How To Reduce Sensitivity And Improve Endurance

Pleasing a woman during sex can take 20 minutes or longer, and leaving the job undone could mean losing future opportunities to snuggle with that partner. While most men would love to outlast their partners, providing them with sex sessions that stretch on for hours, penis sensitivity issues could put a damper on these grand plans. A man with an overly sensitive penis thrills to even the slightest touch, and engaging in sex with a partner tends to end with apologies, as the man reaches a climax much sooner than his partner.

Sensitivity issues can be frustrating, but thankfully, they can be solved. An at-home training program, including proper penis care, can help to reduce the amount of neural overstimulation the man receives during sex, and utilizing specific techniques during intercourse could give men the added control they need to please their partners.

    Increasing Exposure
Uncircumcised men spend the vast majority of the day with the tip of the penis protected from abrasions, scrapes and touches. When the protective foreskin is pulled back during sex, the sensations from a sensory-deprived penis head can be overwhelming. While it might not be reasonable to keep that foreskin retracted throughout the day, men can train their minds to handle the sensory information they receive when the head of the penis is exposed. Lowering the foreskin gently and touching the tip of the penis on a regular basis can help men learn how to handle this kind of touch without losing control.

Circumcised men can also experience hypersensitivity, even though the tip of a circumcised penis isn't protected by a foreskin. In this case, wearing cotton undergarments can help, as the mild friction caused by the cloth can "toughen up" the skin and reduce overwhelming sensations.

    Improving Performance
Placing a latex barrier between sensitive penis skin and the inviting skin of a partner can also be helpful for men with sensitivity issues. The condom helps to reduce the sensation of friction while leaving a feeling of pressure in place, and this might allow men to feel as though they can last longer during intercourse.

Men might also benefit from changing positions on a regular basis. Sticking with one pose from start to finish allows a man to focus on his body and the sensations he's experiencing. Changing positions, or even changing activities, forces men to concentrate on other things, at least momentarily, and this break in attention could mean a few precious minutes are added to the performance.

Kegel exercises can also give men a bit more control, as Kegels improve the tone of muscles located just below the bladder. These muscles have a role to play during urination, and stopping urine flow mid-stream is an excellent way to identify these muscles. Flexing and loosening these muscles throughout the day can make them stronger, giving a man more control, and tightening them during sex might keep an impending ejaculation from taking place.

    Taking Care
Numbing agents might seem like a reasonable solution to a sensitivity problem, and men might be tempted to raid the medicine chest looking for:
    • Oral numbing gels
    • Mouthwashes
    • Toothpaste
    • Drying lotions

Unfortunately, these medications can damage the skin and cause cracking, peeling and penis irritation. Numbing agents used right before sex could also numb the skin of a sex partner, creating even more of a problem.

A penis health crème (most experts recommend Man 1 Man Oil) could be helpful here. A crème like this is designed to help improve the tone and texture of penis skin, allowing men to develop a penis that is soft and responsive. Men who apply a penis health crème are learning how to touch that sensitive part of their bodies without losing control, and they're improving their health at the same time, providing them with a training tool that provides health benefits as well as improved sex performance.

    Premature Ejaculation And Penis Hypersensitivity

Because the penis is so frequently subjected to rough handling, it is more common for men of all ages to complain about reduced sensitivity. An over-sensitive penis, on the other hand, can be just as much of a problem when it comes to enjoying sex. Men who have a hypersensitive penis frequently report penis problems such as premature ejaculation or pain at the head of the penis during sex or manual stimulation.

    What causes penis hypersensitivity?
Men who have an oversensitive penis often report that it is uncomfortable or even painful to touch the head, and in some cases, they find intercourse to be impossible. There are a number of factors that may be linked to an oversensitive penis, including the following:

    • Phimosis – Inability to retract the foreskin, a condition known as phimosis, has been linked to hypersensitivity of the glans. This may be due to the lack of direct contact with “the outside world,” so to speak, and it may be addressed by gently withdrawing the foreskin until it retracts properly. Nourishing the penis skin with a vitamin formula containing natural emollients may help to ease this process and accustom the nerve tissue to tactile stimulation.
    • Urinary tract infection – A UTI can increase the sensitivity of the penis, especially around the urethral opening. Men who experience a sudden onset of hypersensitivity, along with a burning sensation on urination, should consider being tested for a urinary infection.
    • Trauma to the glans – An injury to the glans of the penis can cause oversensitivity and pain; if the head of the penis is injured, medical attention may be necessary.
    • Fractured penis – Men who experience penis fractures may find intercourse to be extremely painful. Fractures tend to occur during especially vigorous sex and should be handled as a medical emergency, as they can result in permanent damage. A loud, popping sound accompanied by sudden pain during intercourse may indicate a penile fracture and should be treated immediately.
    • Prostate problems – An enlarged or inflamed prostate gland may result in oversensitivity in the base of the penis or in the perineal area.
    • Infections – Balanitis, an inflammatory condition that affects the head of the penis, may result in hypersensitivity or pain. A sore penis that is accompanied by redness, swelling, rash, a cracked and dry appearance, and/or a whitish discharge may be infected and should be treated by a health care professional.

What are the effects of an oversensitive penis?
Depending on the cause of the hypersensitivity, there are a number of effects to watch out for. As previously mentioned, an oversensitive penis may be painful to the touch, to the point where intercourse or manual stroking is out of the question. In less extreme cases, men have often reported premature ejaculation due to oversensitivity, although in medical research, this effect has not been clearly linked to a sensitivity issue. For men with an inflamed or enlarged prostate, oversensitivity or pain may occur following ejaculation. Furthermore, men with ongoing hypersensitivity may experience anxiety, depression and loss of erectile function.

Conditioning the skin of the penis
Healthy penis skin starts with proper skin care. Washing carefully and making sure the area is dry before putting on clothing can help to prevent numerous penis problems such as fungal overgrowth and inflammation of the foreskin. Treating the penile tissue with the natural emollients found in a high quality penis vitamin cream (most health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) may help to calm irritated skin and leave it smooth, supple and resilient. In addition, the practice of applying a topical cream to the penis may help to condition it to tactile sensation and restore normal sensitivity.
