Sexting 101 - Etiquette Tips

Sexting is not just an activity for partners who have sex in real life; people who’ve never engaged in the act together can enjoy this over-the-phone form of sensual activity. But there are things to keep in mind, especially when sexting someone that a man has not been sexual with physically. Along with maintaining proper penis care (hello, dick pic!), the man in a sexting relationship would do well to consider the following etiquette tips for keeping his dirty texts respectful.

Start with flirtation.
If a guy wants to sext with a woman, that doesn’t necessarily mean she wants to. In the interest of not making anyone uncomfortable, it’s important to ease into it. Men can "test the waters" by starting with gentle flirtation. If she flirts back, amp it up a little. If it becomes obvious that she’s interested in the guy, he can initiate sexting by saying something like, "How would you feel if I told you what I’d like to do with you right now?" There’s nothing unsexy about asking, and she’ll appreciate the consideration.

Ask what she likes.
As with asking whether sexting is something a phone buddy wants to engage in, it’s good to ask a sexting partner what she likes. One wouldn’t want to jump in with something like, "I want to shove my rod so far up your behind…." or, "I want to chain you to a fence and…" Way too intense, unless one knows that his sexting partner is into such things. If a man wants to introduce some new line of thinking and conversing, he would do well again to test the waters. He can ask, "How would you feel about handcuffs?" or, "Would you like it if I put it [x]?" Any bondage, rough stuff, name-calling, entry into new orifices, etc. should be discussed slowly.

Don’t beg for anything.
It’s no surprise that men generally enjoy looking at naked photos. One’s sexting partner knows this, and likely knows that photos will be desired from her. But a man shouldn’t beg for them. She might just want to keep it to words, and he needs to respect that if such is the case. Whiny begging is not sexy, and neither is pressure.

Hold off on the dick pics.
Some guys think that women are as interested in checking out what’s in their pants as they are in seeing a woman’s nether regions. But it’s just not always the case. She might not want to see it. Simple as that. Having a surprise dick pic pop up in one’s inbox is pleasant for some, but not for others. Don’t spring it on her. Either wait for her to ask, or ask her if she wants to see what’s in tow downstairs.

If she wants it, make it special.
If she does want to see it, a man can present his tool in a special way for her. Consider displaying it erect, perhaps in hand, with a picture of her in the frame. If she wants a video, he can film the big finish as he looks at a picture or video of her. Finally, consider highlighting the final product. A man can release onto something darkly colored to show her what she helped produce.

Of course, if a man is to feature his member in a picture or video, he wants to make sure it’s in peak condition. Tending to any skin issues that may be present by using a penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) is a great option. Vitamin C promotes collagen production for firm skin, while Shea butter and vitamin E provide and lock in moisture.

Better Sex with Dirty Talk – Tips and Tricks

A vital, flourishing sex life is an important component of penis care, as frequent use gives the member the exercise it needs to stay strong and nourished. While some couples may prefer silent sex, others find nothing more tantalizing than a healthy helping of dirty talk. What this looks (or sounds) like depends on the couple. In some situations, both partners may have experience with verbal supplementation; other times, only one partner is well-versed, so to speak, on the topic. It may even be brand new to both partners. Some couples may like to engage in dirty back-and-forth, while others may prefer to establish a speaker and a listener. There’s no one right way with dirty talk; using it for better sex requires both partners to communicate their desires and needs.

The following advice will help men introduce the topic of dirty talk with their partners and, if the partner agrees to give it a go, learn some different ways to proceed.

Boundaries
Whenever considering the addition of a new element in a couple’s sex life, it’s a good idea to talk about it first. This helps a man know if his partner is open to what he’s throwing out there and, if so, where the partner’s boundaries lie.
A man can begin the conversation frankly: "Are you interested in dirty talk?" Then, the conversation can get more detailed. Are there certain words - for body parts or the sex act, for example - the partner is particularly fond of or uncomfortable with? Some partners like light dirty talk, sticking mainly to observation and description, while others like more extreme forms such as name-calling. Some basic ground rules should be laid out beforehand.

Observation/Description
Whatever a man does, it’s important not to jump in too deep too fast. He may choose, then, to stick with observation and description to start off with. He can describe what he loves in the moment and how he feels. "You look gorgeous," "I love how I feel inside you," "I fill you so well" - these are hot and spicy descriptions a partner might love to hear.

Matching Talk Intensity with Arousal
To keep dirty talk authentic, it’s good not to force it. As arousal increases during sexy time, one’s words can amp up in turn - naturally, honestly. If comfort has been established with such things, a man may start using more racy terms for body parts and for the act itself as he and his partner get hotter.

Invite the Partner in, Gently
Whether or not a man’s partner is interested in playing an active role in dirty dialogue, he or she may enjoy some level of participation. A good way to prompt this is to ask a question: "Do you like when I __ your __?" "Does that feel good?" These are questions that gently invite the partner to participate without being too pushy.

Giving/Receiving Orders
While it’s certainly not for everyone, some couples like a little (or a lot of) domination/submission in the mix. One element of this is giving or receiving orders. The dominant partner tells the other what to do, being very explicit about what he or she wants. "Now put your mouth on my __," "I want you to ride me" - these are just a couple examples. Partners may exchange roles throughout playtime, or may prefer to remain in one role.

Name-Calling
Not everyone is comfortable with this, but some people love being called names during sex, and these names range from more mild but sexy terms like "bad girl/boy" or "dirty girl/boy" to more aggressive, derogatory terms. While some people find it degrading, others - particularly those who like to take a submissive role and serve as a sort of pleasure vehicle for their partners - may get a thrill from this unmatched by other forms of dirty talk. It should be noted that both partners need to be comfortable with this; some people might not be comfortable calling their partners names, and that’s okay.

While dirty talk can fan the sexual flames, a dirty penis will not. Along with regular washing, the daily application of a penis health cream (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil) can help prevent skin tears and rough patches that trap bacteria. Look for a product with natural moisturizers like Shea butter and vitamin E; vitamin A is also a great feature, since it works to eliminate odor-causing bacteria. A smooth, supple member is a major turn-on, along with all the fun words couples can use to describe it.

Sex Advice for Dummies - 5 Things Never to Say in the Bedroom

Men looking to spice things up in the bedroom - without studying a sex manual for hours or potentially pulling a muscle - may want to give a little sexy talk a chance. Sure, not all women (or men for that matter) want to feel like they are starring in an adult film, but a few well-timed, enticing phrases might just push her over the edge. On the other hand, overdoing it can have the opposite effect, so a little restraint is also in order. Here are a few of the dos and don’ts of dirty talk, along with some tips for keeping the penis healthy and clean, because only the talk in the bedroom should be dirty.

What Not to Say

- Let’s ditch the condoms: In the heat of the moment is not the time to have a discussion about ditching the protection. It doesn’t matter if it feels better, makes it better, or just looks better - the condom talk is one to have with the clothes on, when everybody is thinking straight. End of story.

- The C-word, or other negative terms: Sure, adult films may make it seem like a good idea, but telling one’s girlfriend she is a dirty b, or calling her lady bits the c-word, is only good for one thing: stopping the action. Most women are highly offended by the use of such derogatory terms and will instantly shut down the love boat. Unless she has made it clear that she likes rough language like this, skip it.

- Excessive description: It’s dirty talk, she gets it, but there is a fine line between saying something feels good and using 12 dirty adjectives plus 4 unique descriptors for the male and female parts. Sometimes, less is more.

- Overly flowery statements: Again, comparing her lady bits to the sweet nectar of the rising sun is in no way turn-on for most women. It is either going to make her laugh, or roll her eyes, or just decide a guy is full of it call it a day.

- That doesn’t feel good: Of course she wants to do things the right way for her man, but telling her she’s bad at something is probably going to send her out the door. Instead of criticizing, say, "It feels even more amazing this way," while demonstrating the action in question. She will likely be happy to comply.

What to say

- She looks sexy: Women can feel insecure about their bodies during sex, so make sure she knows she looks fantastic. Tell her she is sexy, beautiful, a goddess or whatever else feels natural. However, be sure to vary the compliments; being told she’s, "so hot" over and over and over again will start to lose its meaning and get downright annoying.

- What is working in bed: If there is a move that is working, don’t be afraid to tell her; she likes positive feedback that lets her know she is doing great. Likewise, it can never hurt to tell her how sexy it would be to try that new position; however, if she says no, respect it and move on, because forcing the issue is only going to eject one from the bedroom.

- Her name: Most women are turned on by the sound of their name coming from a place of passion. Just be sure to moderate it, unless she is reciprocating; shouting her name 50 times in a row is irritating- and particularly embarrassing if she has a roommate.

- That he could go all night long: Sure, it’s impractical if there is work the next morning - and the statement may not even be true -- but letting her know how big of a turn-on she is and that sex with her is amazing and could go on forever will get her going.

- What she wants in bed: Letting her know that he is willing to fulfill any desire she has will get the creative juices flowing and help her feel she is in charge, which is an empowering feeling in the bedroom.

Keeping the penis healthy

Getting a little dirty in the bedroom is one thing - after all, that is what showers are for - but coming into the bedroom dirty is entirely another. She wants a clean, fresh-smelling man coming into those freshly laundered sheets, not a stinky man that makes her wonder what on earth he was doing today, and whether or not she wants his hands on her. In order to be the former, always follow up every shower with an application of penis health cream (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil) containing odor-fighting vitamin A. Simply apply after the shower and stay fresher, longer; and as a bonus, the rich mix of vitamins and amino acids can improve the overall look, feel and sensitivity level of the skin.
